Pain, Love, and Bam

        We were moving into our new house today. I'm excited but nervous too. My older brother, Tommy, just seems mad like he always is nowadays. Mommy says that things are going to start getting better now and that her and daddy arent going to fight anymore. I'm happy about that. I don't like it when they fight, which is all they do lately.

        This new town is called West Chester. I hope that i can make lots of friends here. I'm scared no one will like me, but hopefully they will. I hope our neighbors are nice. The last ones didn't like us very much becasue they said we were too loud, and they didn't like kids either. Maybe our new neighbors will have kids that Tommy and I can play with, that would be fun. There weren't any kids in our old neighborhood, it was all old people.

        "We're here." Mommy said fromt the front seat of the car as daddy pulled into a driveway with the moving truck following behind us. The house looks nice. I'm excited to pick my new room. Mommy says i can paint it any color i want and i am going to pick purple, because it's my favorite color ever. Tommy jumps out of the car the second it stops and i scurry out after him. "Do you always have to follow me dweeb?" He askes me as i run after him. I stop in my tracks and watch as he continues on to the house with daddy. i wish Tommy liked me more. He used to be my best friend, but now he never wants to hang out with me and all he does is yell at me. It hurts my feelings, but i don't say anything because i don't want mommy or daddy to yell at him. It's not his fault I'm boring.

        Mommy and daddy and the mover guys start to unload the truck and bring things into the house. I go exploring the new house while they do this. I pick out which room i want to be mine. I go and find mommy to tell her but she tells me she'll talk to me later because she's busy and can't be bothered with me. I decide to keep exploring but then i got in trouble for being in the way so i decide to go outside and explore our new yard and maybe Tommy will actually hang out with me because he must be bored too.

        I find Tommy out in the backyard and he says i can follow him around as long as I promise not to talk and annoy him. I promise that I'll try my best. We were walking around not doing much wehn a nice looking blond lady comes over from the house next door, followed by a bigger man and two young boys. They make their way over to us and I'm excited to meet them since they live next door to us. "Hi, i'm April, are your parents around?" The nice blond lady asks me and I nod and start leading them to the house. "Mommy, someones's here to see you." I call out as we all walk in the front door. "Emma, can't you ever leave me alone for more than 5 minutes?" my mom yelled before walking into the room. "Oh I'm sorry, I'm Charlotte." My mom said, introducing herself.

"I'm April and this is my husband Phil and my two sons, Jesse and Brandon." The nice lady said back. "We live next door so we decided to come y and see if you guys needed help with anything."

"We seem to have everything under control, but thank you for stopping by." Mommy answered.

"If you don't mind Emma could come over to our house and play with the boys so she stays out of your way and you don't have to worry about her." April offered and i wanted to go. Mommy said i could so I followed April and her family back over to their house.
