I had caught a ride home with Bulkhead and Miko. I had figured Optimus was tired and exhausted from his battle against the robot zombies. "Just stop here, the workshop is right there." I said and pointed at the garage.

"See yea tomorrow?" Miko asked and looked back at me. I nodded and opened the door to get out.

"Definitely, I wouldn't miss another day with the Autobots" I chuckled and waved to her before running to the workshop.

"You are late!" It came from Gabriel. He was covered in oil again, but this time his black hair had been tied up. It was a rarity for him to do so. He only did it when he had especially nasty jobs. "Who was that? I thought your boyfriend dropped you off. I would surely have loved to look at that engine." He said excitingly.

"Gabriel!" I exclaimed and walked past him. "He is not my boyfriend!" I growled and tossed my bag on a chair before going through it. I dived up my working clothing and walked to the restroom, where I changed. Gabriel had always been there for me, he had grown to be something of a big brother to me, a friend but still my boss. "So what do you got for me today?" I asked once I had tossed my other clothing on the exact same chair, my bag was lying on.

"An especially dirty job today." He chuckled and walked into the workshop. "Better tie your hair up." He teased but I did as he said, I would personally avoid oil in my hair. It was such a pain to get out again.

I worked from 9 pm to 1:30 am getting the truck done. And though I had tied my hair up, it was now full of oil. Gabriel had luckily been so kind to lend me his shower. It helped but I feared some oil still remained. I was yawning when I waked outside. I knew Optimus wasn't there to pick me up because I had caught a ride with Bulk and Miko. My tired mind soon thought back on the day, on everything we had been through. And all that. I yawned when something suddenly stopped beside me. I looked at it and in the dark could I see it was a truck. "Optimus?" I asked.

"You need a ride home?" He asked and opened his door. I smiled tiredly and climbed in.

"I thought you were too tired after today's events." I said and buckled up. "I definitely am." I yawned and lent my head to the seat. I yawned again while waiting for Optimus to answer.

"I am, but still I wasn't the one who got hurt. Besides I have another duty. I still have to protect you." He told and drove through the silent. I only chuckled and closed my eyes.

"I know but you are still a prime, and what I've learnt..." I trailed off because a yawn had interrupted me. "You don't usually do these kind of things."

"The rules have changed, we are no longer on Cybertron, and we all have to adapt." He told while I yawned again. I was so tired I could barely keep myself conscious.

"Don't drive back to my place..." I trailed off having surrendered. Exhaustion took me and I quickly fell asleep.

"I'm not finished with you!" Something grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. I was pushed into the wall when something hit me. A hand, or was it? My cheek was throbbing as another strike hit again, but this time I screamed...

I screamed and jerked up, I was panting when I quickly looked around in the darkness. I quickly figured I wasn't at home. "Where?.." I started but trailed off. I was at the Autobot base. 'Why am I here?' I thought and squished my hands together. I quickly closed my eyes and I remembered my dream, but then again it wasn't a dream either. I felt the tears yet again when I raised my knees up. I slowly placed my arms around my legs. I was hugging them with my head lent forth onto my knees.

I had remembered the first time my father hit me. I came home a bit late from a friends house. I had enjoyed myself and forgotten to write to my father. He had apparently gotten himself drunk for one of the first times and had released all his anger upon me when I stepped in through the door...
