A/N: EXTRA LONG CHAPTER, only for the first. My chapter's won't normally be this long.
Anyway, thank you for picking my story to read! I just loved the show so much I decided to write about it.~~~~
Bethany Sawyer's P.O.V
I stood on the front porch of the new house my father had rented for his work. He moved us across the world for the sake of his job. Not that this is new or that I minded much anyway, or that I really had a choice. I haven't really had many friends so whenever we moved I was fine with it.
"What are you waiting for?" My father snapped, shoving me as he passed me to walk inside with his suitcases.
I stumbled a bit but managed to not fall over. "Ass." I muttered very quietly under my breath, knowing what would happen if he heard.
I never really liked my father and never knew my mother. My father is an abusive, aggressive man who takes out his anger on his only daughter. My mother is someone who ran away from her responsibility of becoming a parent and left them all to my dad. I guess I'm just lucky he didn't kick me to the curb. Despite how he treats me physically he still provides for me very well, some might say better than other girls my age are treated. I guess that what keeps me from hating the man and running away.
I took a deep sigh before I walked in the new house. As soon as my foot took a step in I saw my father already on the phone, his bags set by the stairs needing to be taken up.
I reached down and grabbed them, struggling to get up the stairs with the new founded weight. His bedroom, the master, was at the end of the hall and luckily there was another bedroom at the other end of the hall. I always like to pick the one furthest from him, even though I know he can easily come to my room, the further away from him the better I feel.
After putting his bags on his bed, I went to my room to start unpacking mine.

"Bethany!" My father yelled from downstairs and by the tone of his voice he was not very happy. I put down the book I began to read after finishing my room and descended down the stairs.
"Yes, father." I said reaching the last step with him in front of me tapping his foot.
"Why are you not cooking dinner?" He asked causing me to look over to the time. Shoot! It's already 5:30.
"Sorry, father." I apologized, quickly moving around him to get to the kitchen. "I'll get started right away." And with that I was making a quick meal of spaghetti.

I yawned waking up the next morning, bright and early as my clock told me it was nearly 8. This was the time I usually woke up. My dad was away at work 7-5 and so I was able to have the whole day to myself, I wasn't about to sleep it away.
I went down the steps with some pep in my step, not having worry about my father. My first instinct was to go into the kitchen and grab myself a blueberry bagel, my favorite one. I was the one who did the shopping so I bought much of what I liked.
When I went to put my dish in the sink I saw a massive grass field out. We are in England now and the scenery is just so breath-taking. I had the idea to grab a blanket and go out to read just taking in all of what England has to offer.
Once having my blanket and book I headed out, locking the door behind me. The field is so large and so free feeling, it's amazing.
I laid my blanket out nicely before I went to lay down and start off in my book where I left off yesterday.
