"Holy crap!" Was all I could saw as the guy brought me to the literal black Stallion. "He's so breath taking." I said follow the guy as we walked into the stable.

"Better than Dash?" He asked with a teasing look in his eye.

"Hmm..." I thought, raising a hand up, stroking my chin. "No," I pointed at him before dropping my hand and walking up to the horse next to the guy. "But this horse come very, very close. He's absolutely...just wow."

"I don't remember you having that kind of reaction meeting Dash." The guy teased further.

I laughed slightly, taking a carrot out of his palm that he offered to me. "Well this horse hasn't given me that award winning smile Dash did." I then smiled. "You know I look for personality not just looks." I said, getting a side glance from the guy. "Dash has got it all!" I stated, stepping closer to the guy as the horse seemed a bit wary of me.

He seemed to noticed but didn't say anything which I was grateful for. I smiled at him and then bumped him with my shoulder that didn't even reach his. "You know this whole time we've talked, I still don't know your name." I reached out my palm for the horse to take the carrot. "It'd be nice to put a name to a face."

The horse looked at me for a second before slowly walking forward. "My name is Pin." He replied, finally allowing me to give him a name instead of calling him some guy.

The horse quickly took the carrot and backed off back into the stall. I could only laugh slightly at how skittish he was but know that's just how some horses are. "What's yours?" Pin asked, glancing at me before he stepped closer to the horse and began feeding it the treats while carefully petting him.

"Bethany." I replied, backing up and leaning against the wall of the stall.

"Beth." He said trying out a nickname I haven't heard in a long time despite the common nickname.

"My mother used to call me that." I said with a ghostly smile on my lips.

"I'm sorry." He said, realizing I said used to.

"Don't worry, she's not dead." I laughed, though no amusement was in it. "She's just...gone." I said, feeling my heart clench again, remember the few memories I had of her. "There I go again, opening up to you about personal stuff right away." I said embarrassed that I keep telling him my problems, kicking the dirt with my boot.

"My mother left too, sends postcards, but doesn't ever visit." He said, messing with the last carrot between his finger tips. He fed it to the horse and then looked over to me with what looked like a forced smile. "There, now we're even about personal business."

I smiled at his attempt to make me feel better about my blabbering mouth, though it actually did since I'm now not the only one with business out there now. "Thanks." He sent me another smile before his gaze went up above me, more to the roof.

"What is that?" He asked, though I think it was more to himself.

"What?" I asked pushing myself off the wall and moving to stand next to him so I could see what he was looking out.

"Is that a phone? Recording us?" I asked, narrowing my eyes as if that would help me see it better.

"Looks like it. Someone is recording the horses." He said moving away to grab some step ladder.

"What? Why?" I asked, watching as he opened it and climbed up to grab the phone.

"I don't know." He replied stepping down and putting away the step stool. "It says Zoe is watching."

"Zoe?" I asked, moving over to look at it from his side. "What could she want with watching the horses?"

"I don't know." He muttered, seemingly a little upset and suspicious as he turned it off.
