Next To Me

Kami's invisible sister was not happy with her.

She was so unhappy, that she had even threatened to completely take over the body for good.

"How dare you tell that traitor you love him?! What did he ever do for you, or me in that matter!?"

"He's done a lot sis, you just need to calm down and accept that I like the cute little goat boy I was at the centre with"

"I was there too! I had also loved him! But look where that got me! I'm basically dead now because he didn't do anything to save me!"

"Ugh, he couldn't have saved you! It was burning wood! If he touched it he would've probably burned himself and you both would have died!"

"I wish that had happened!"

"I'm done arguing with you, either accept that I love him, say your just jealous because he's mine, or I'll just have to expel you from my body for good."

"You can't do that!"

"Who's saying I can't?"

They bickered for nearly an hour before finally Yagi had come knocking on Kami's door.

"Kami, usually I'm in your position but... H-Hurry up! We're going to be late again if we don't go quickly!..."

"Okay Yagi, I'll be out in a second! You remember the arrangement, I get to go to school, and you get to have control at home, until Yagi is around, then I get control again"

"So I basically get 0 control?"

"K-Kami... Who are you talking to?.."

"Just myself Yagi... I'm just... Writing a story, talking to myself like it was happening right now... that's all."

"Okay... Hurry up please..."

As he finished saying that, Kami would open the door.

"Hiya Yagi. We better get going huh?"

"Yea.."

They both headed off towards the school at a decently speedy pace.

Luckily, for the both of them, they made it on time and made it to class without being late.

As lunch rolled around things went back to normal with Kami and Yagi.

Yagi had decided to sit with Kami today, it confused most people including the rejects and Kami's friends since they thought he was still mad at her for whatever reason.

"Nope, we made up!" Kami said delighted

Yagi would simply nod. Though yes, Kami's friends were nice to him. They did not cease to annoy him. Always playing with his hair, or playing with his ears, or patting him on the head. Or everyone now and then someone playing with his tail.

But this time, they seemed to be intentionally trying to be not annoying and nice to Yagi, offering him food here and there, or just plain being nice, asking how his day was. Things like that.

Something seemed off about them to Yagi.

He finally decided to ask Kami, and she replied with.

"I told them it was a little annoying to you and that they should at least tone it down."

Yagi was surprised at the generous act of Kami, since usually she just laughed whenever her friends played with Yagi.
