"You should not have  allowed her to leave the Manor, mother." Meg is fidgeting while pacing on the floor after knowing that Athena has been accepted in the Kent Group. She's not sure yet but she feels a looming danger for her niece.

It's Friday, The family of five are gathered in the Library. Glacilda and Luna are sitting on the long sofa while the Peterson siblings are at at the bar.

The matriarch's comforting tone tries to soothe Meg's anxiety. "The amulet that I gave her will alert us when she's in a compromising situation. It's been a week and nothing has happened." Glacilda wears a replica of the owl amulet.

Sighing deeply, Luna voices out her fears. "Nothing has happened...YET, mother. She lives in the hag's village. Soon enough she'd be an unsuspecting prey."

Mark pouring a glass of wine for her sister intervenes."We'll try to talk to her tomorrow. "

"Yeah, maybe we can convince her to go back here. Then we can tell her the truth. We must be honest with her or  such innocence can put her in serious danger." Everyone nods in agreement to Marybeth.

Touching the necklace that her grandmother gave her, Athena opens her eyes to greet Saturday with vigor.  Glacilda told her never remove it off her neck. That night when she fainted in the dining hall, she knew the next morning that she can't stay another night in the Manor to experience more bizarre events. Meg was in great disapproval but Glacilda gave her blessings.

She stops reminiscing the events in the Manor to concentrate for Monday. She needs more things for the job as Management Trainee. Ella gave the renumeration package including a salary of 2700 Georgian Lari for six months with surprise incentives from her immediate boss which she will meet on her first day.  It will depend on her performance if her tenure will flourish.

She signed the contract. The offer wasn't bad at all. The average monthly salary in Georgia is only 1069 GEL and she's given more than double. USD 1,100 a month is a generous income.

It's a good day to shop for her office attire. She only brought a few clothes when Meg told her that they'd go shopping anyway. But it did not happen.

After having coffee, she steps out of her rental  taking the shortcut to the back of the house where a cemetery is located. She doesn't mind. It's the cheapest rent offered by her 84 year old landlady who lives with her daughter and granddaughter. They migrated from Greenwich after the old woman's husband died.

In just 5 minutes, she 's along the street of Mtskheta leading to the main road. If she did not walk from the cemetery, it will take awhile waiting for a taxi ride.  She goes along the quiet alley with a happy stride, noticing that a few residents  have garlic and chili hanging on their fences. Georgians have a lot of rituals and they seem to be night people. She seldom sees people in the day but at night it's like a street party.
