"So, you really just wanted to talk?" Cherry questioned me with her beautiful brown eyes looking into mine. Her eyes were kind and puppy like. They were like a child eyes begging for candy and you couldn't refuse.
"I wouldn't lie to you." I answered. She batted her curled lashes at me. She probably has trust issues due to how many creeps came in here.
"Why do you work here?" I asked bluntly. I had to know. She was too precious too rare to work in such an environment. This couldn't be it for her. It couldn't be. I wouldn't allow it.
"I like it" she spoke softly.
"I feel free when I'm dancing. It's my life away from my life. It's like being two people. It's like being a super hero. I have my secret identity during the day then at night I'm free to be me. To fly." She spoke. I wanted to hum with every word she said. Her voice was peace itself.Cherry isn't dancing because life is hard or she's financially unstable. She loves it. Im not sure if I understand, but if It's what she wants to do, and what she wants I will respect that. I'll respect her.
"Are you even real?" I asked making her giggle.
We sat there for 30 minutes talking about her life and dreams. Till my time was up. She even asked me a couple of things about myself also. Which I answered truthfully. I could sit here all night, Forever even. As long as that meant I could stay here and talk to Cherry.
We both stood up from the couch. She looked up at me and smiled.
"I liked this." Cherry said.
"It was different. Most guys don't just want to talk." She spoke. I frowned thinking about the other men. Who had watched her dance just as I had.
They were probably unkind and expected "extras". Cherry was clearly not the type. Even in this trade of work she was innocent. And that is what made her so different. How could someone radiate pure sexiness and purity at the same time? She had my mind so distraught and out of place with my thoughts."If this isn't to private... I wanted to ask what is your real name Cherry?" I asked. Hoping that she would gift me with and answer.
"Angel" she replied. And it fit her so well I almost laughed out in excitement.
An Angel named Cherry.
