"What did you say?" I question not believing my ears.

"Shaylla" he clarified slowly.

"Oh" I say laughing. That would've been to easy. Way to easy. Cherries sister right under our noses dating my brother.

"I'm having a black and white party on Saturday. You should come." Maxwell speaks.

"Bring a plus one don't come alone bro." He warns shaking his head at me. I've never been the party type. People always drank to much and ended up doing dumb things that they wish they hadn't. And it only gets worse the older people get.

"Okay." I say agreeing. Its the least I can do after accusing Max of doing something so awful.

I will ask Cherry to come. I hope that she agrees. Our relationship is at a weird spot right now... I understand why it's hard to date someone who is still married.

My brother will definitely have a few things to say about my date that's for sure. Cherry is without a doubt the opposite of Sarah. They're both extremely beautiful, but Cherries beauty is a burst of fresh air. It's foreign to me and I love it. She was different from any girl that I've ever been with.

After exchanging few more words and hugs goodbye I head back to my home. It's pretty late as I drive into my drive through. Memories fly back to my head as I approach my front door. Sarah and her bruised face, her lies. I don't understand what would make her tell such a lie on Max. Then again I don't understand lots of the things she does anymore.

I unlock the front door and enter my home. A loud yawn exits my mouth as I walk up my stairs.  It's been a long day and I want nothing more than sleep. I enter my dimley lit bed room and plop down into my large empty bed not even considering a shower. I let sleep take over my body quickly.

I wake up early surprisingly due to the late night that I had. I slept soundly and if I did have a dream I don't recall it. I sit up and stretch letting out a long yawn.

I fill my phone vibrate in my jeans pocket and I realize that I am still in yesterday's clothes. I grab my phone and my face brightens from the notification about a text message from Cherry.
I quickly open up the text.

Good morning. Wanna hang out. I'm heading home from class now?

My day instantly starts off great and nothing can ruin it. The way just a simple text from her can make me forget all my worries is crazy.

Good Morning. Of course I do beautifulx
I reply quickly. I climbed out of bed slowly and make my way over to my bathroom to shower. After I'm done showering I get dressed. I wear a white tshirt and black pants. I put on a clean pair of white Vans then I head over to Cherries house.

I knock on the large brown wooden door. And wait. I here Cherry litteraly run down her stairs her bare feet slapping against the marble floor making me laugh a bit.

The door opens and a very beautiful Cherry stands before me. Her hair is in its natural curls and her face is bare besides her glossy lips. She wears a black shirt that shows off her pierced belly button and ripped jeans that show more leg than actual jeans.

"Hey" I greet her. My cheeks burning just from looking at her. She gestures for me to enter and I gladly do.

Cherry closes the door behind us and locks it. I open my hand and she slides hers in mine. Our fingers intertwine and we make our way over to the couch in the large living room.

We sit down comfortably and I just stare at her beauty. Making Cherry let out a shy giggle.

"Stop"she laughs covering her face with her hands.

"Stop what?" I question trying not to laugh.

"Looking at me like that." She smiles. And I can't help but to return the smile.

"Like what?" I tease.

She shakes her head then roll her pretty brown eyes at me.

"How was your week?" Cherry askes changing the subject. For someone who was so incredibly sexy she was so shy.

My mind goes back to the countless hours of work that I had done and the way Sarahs face was beat up, and how she blamed Maxwell, how I confronted him with violence.

"My week wasn't very good." I said honestly.
"Seeing you is the best thing that has happened to me this week." I speak.

Her eyes soften and Cherries plump lips fall into a pout. She climbs into my lap and sits there. Her curly hair goes into my face and it smells lovely.

"I'm sorry. Do you want to tell me what happened? You don't have to, but it's good to talk." Cherry askes.
She turns her head to look at me behind her. Her innocent eyes made me smile and my stomach fill up with butterflies.

"I talked to my brother. Well actually I tried to beat him up failed drastically then we talked. " I admitted with a chuckle. Just saying what happened aloud makes me cringe.

"Wait what??"
"You have a brother"
"Why to did you try to fight him?"
Cherry let's out question after question. She's so genuinely concerned and that just makes me want to hold her and never let go. She cares. She cares about me. Actually cares.

"I have an older brother. His name is Maxwell, but everyone calls him Max.
Sarah was all beat up the other day. Like really messed up. She told me that Max did that to her." I explained. Cherries eyes widen in shock.

"So you went over to your older brothers to confront him then what?"
She asked quickly.

"I got one good punch then he knocked me out cold and we sat and had a civilized conversation. The sad thing is that my brother has always been the bad boy of the family but he would never hit a woman. I was just so angry I went after him without thinking. I should've known that Sarah is untrustworthy by now."

"Damn" Cherry says shaking her head.

"So what really happened to Sarah?" Cherry questioned curiously.
That was a great question.  The fact that Sarah would purposely try to ruin my brother and my relationship is beyond me. I don't know if she hurt herself. Is she capable of something so insane? She was hurt pretty bad. Why would she lie?

"I have no idea" I answer truthfully.
We sit in silence for a few minutes.

"On a lighter note. Would you like to go to a-party with me this weekend?" I ask with a grin.

"What kind of party." Cherry questions with a cute smile.

"A black and white party. Dress up kinda thing at my brothers house." I explain.

Cherry taps her chin and looks up as if she is thinking dramatically. I chuckle at her goofiness.

"Okay I suppose I'll go with you." She giggles.

I smile and give her a peck on the cheek. I would give her a perfect night.
