So. Brandon and I had that conversation over the summer. We were in seventh grade going into eighth, 13 years old.
I felt sad a lot. I would cut sometimes.
My mom wouldn't let me do the marching band. Andrew and I had to quit because our parents thought that it interfered with religion classes.
It turned out that it didn't interfere.
I would hear about all the fun those marching band kids would have. It was horrible feeling left out.
Then one day, Brandon's friend Nick told me a secret.
He said Brandon liked me.
I thought.."No way...". I forced Nick, whom I hadn't known too long, to tell it to my face.
So anyway, one day while Brandon was at band, Nick set up a video chat and told me that Brandon liked me.
I was ecstatic. Nobody has ever... liked me...
We had gotten really close, too. He was the only person who I've told that story too.
