          Where am I?

     It was dark, too dark.

     You were beginning to panic, wondering if you have gone blind.

     There was a soft– yet irritating buzzing sound growing at the back of your mind. It made you anxious.

     You cried out for help, but nothing.

     That is until you could hear muffled voices growing from a distance.

     You tried rushing forward, calling out– screaming.

     But your mind slips back into unconsciousness.

     The next time your mind becomes conscious, it wasn't dark anymore.

     Your surroundings become calm, almost familiar– but you couldn't remember.

     You were alone.

     Why were you alone? You didn't know.

     You pondered– racked through your mind to find answers. You were beginning to panic again.

     You felt like you couldn't breathe.

     And that's when you remembered.

     The crash. The car accident.

     And you gasped in panic, James.

     But before you could grow more frantic, you felt your mind slip back into unconsciousness– the calm surroundings fading, darkness completely devouring you.

     The next time your mind slips back into consciousness, you gasped as if you had been holding your breath in for too long.

     But this time, you remembered everything.

     What happened in the accident, and what happened before.

     Were you dead? You didn't know.

     Your surroundings were brighter now– you had finally remembered why it felt familiar.

     It was because of the beach you've grown to love as a child. It was your safe haven.

     Did that mean you were dead?

     You wanted to panic but you tried your best not to, remembering that whenever you did panic– you would lose your train of thought and the darkness will return to collect you.

     Despite being scared, you let the sounds of waves calm your mind.

     That was all you heard.

     That is– until the muffled voices returned.

     You stood up abruptly from your spot in the sand and began concentrating– wanting to understand the voices.

     "You must be Y/N's parents, I'm Dr. Gerald Patterson and I've been on your daughter's case since she was admitted." You heard, causing you to gasp in relief.

     Did that mean she wasn't dead?

     "Has her friends filled you in on her situation? I understand that you just arrived a few minutes ago."

     Friends? Who was this doctor referring to? Could it be Chris? Scarlett?

          Maybe it was Tom– no it can't be.
