Amnesia.

Nightmare.

Laila had no clue who all these people standing around her bed were, but from what the green eyed boy said before she assumed they were her family.

Once the doctor came in and "briefed" her family on what's going on with her, (apparently she tried to OD)everyone started saying their names and who they were to her.

There's her mom Caroline, her dad Brad , and her sister Ava on the left side of her bed. Then on the right side of the bed there's Mila, Calum, Micheal, Luke, and standing at the end of the bed is Ashton.

Ashton. That name rolls off of Lailas tongue like she's said it a million times.

Ashton was so tired. He couldn't even flash his award winning smile when introducing himself. All he wanted was his Laila back. He is determined to do whatever it takes to make her remember him , remember them.

Laila was asleep so everyone bid their goodbyes. Ashton slowly made his way to the shower placing himself in the steaming hot water; head in his hands letting out a very loud groan.

Slipping out of the shower Ashton throws on some boxes and sweat pants and makes his way back to his make shift bed. It's a chair thing that folds out into a bed; the hospital provided for him so that he doesn't have to leave Laila's side through this whole thing.

Laila has been in the "coma" for like 2 weeks and Ashton has not left her side.

"NO NO no ..." Lailas plead pushes Ashton out of his thoughts. He quickly made his way to the bed side trying to wake her up.

"Babe. Wake up. Please. Wake up."

A numbing pain went straight to Ashton's jaw.

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to. You scared me." Laila has tears in her eyes and her hands over her mouth. "I just thought you were someone else."

"Who?"

"I don't know." She put her hands in her lap and started fiddling with her fingers.

Although Ashton was a little worried about her nightmare he gave her a kiss on her forehead and made his way back to his chair.

"Hey Ash" hearing her call him that makes his heart stop.

"Yes?"

"Can you come lay with me please?" For some reason Ashton makes her feel safe.

Ashton made his way to her bed and cuddled himself next to her.

"Do you think I'll ever remember anything?"

"I'll make sure of it."
