15 meeting

"Merry Christmas gremlins" I said to Jake and Elwood as I jumped on their bed. "Right mums not awake yet so let's have some fun" I grinned at the both of them. Jake immediately bounced up and Elwood clapped his hands and dropped off the bed onto the floor. We all ran into the kitchen where I had prepared a Christmas cookie making kit. An hour later I had just finished ordering a new fire extinguisher and new battery's for the smoke alarm. How Rachel managed to sleep through that I'll never know. "Well, it looks like the cookies are dug up from a mine" Jake said staring at them in disgust. Elwood just laughed and banged them against the table before trying to chew it. "Right I say we get out of the house before mummy wakes up so she don't yell" I grinned.

We all got dressed and headed to the mall. "Now mummy's Christmas gift, what we thinking? She'd love... no I don't think mum likes water cannons after we had to move out of the last apartment. What about a picture of us, who wouldn't love that?" I asked but Elwood was too busy trying to eat the shopping trolley. We got in the photo booth and I ended up having to tiggle the two monsters.

"Link?" I whipped round accidently forgetting that I wasn't supposed to respond to that. I was abouts to turn back around when I saw it was for me. "Sofie?" I asked in shock.

"Damn, running away treated you well" she laughed "but I didn't expect you to settle down and have kids this soon" she said making baby gestures at Elwood who just wanted to bite her long manicured nails. "Stranger danger" Jake started saying, oh God, not again, "No Jake she's a friend" I tried to say but he put his hands on his ears and kept repeating it. "Ugh not my kid" I blushed "neither this one, brothers more like" I grinned. "Oh well moms here if you want to see her? But she might get emotional, and it's cool, I won't tell dad, he's been a bit of a dick recently but we're greatful you didn't do anything to take him down, even though we wouldn't of blamed you if you did" she sighed. I nodded shifting Elwood into my other arm "it's not what I wanted. I just wanted to be left alone" I said looking over at Jake who still had his hands over his ears.

"I should probably go, just in case" I said but just as I was about to step away Angelina cried out with wide arms "Oh Link my baby boy" my eyes went wide as her arms clasped around me. "Oh Link have you come back for Christmas? What a surprise" I couldn't find the words, Elwood started crying and Angelina noticed him. "Oh my look we have a miniature Link come here honey Aunty Angelina will get you anything. As soon as he hit her arms he stopped crying and immediately he bit down on the pendent she wore on her necklace. He munched away happily and I pulled Jake up into my arms. "Stranger danger" he said again but this time more matter of factly. I rolled my eyes "Jake this is Sofie and Angelina" I introduce but Angelina got even more excited "Oh my gosh more children Lincoln I love you" she squealed "You may call me Aunty Angelina little Jakey" she said excitedly. Jake looked up at me skeptically. "Now since its Christmas I'm going to buy you what ever you want" she said coeing at the both of them. Jake shrugged his shoulders "Sure, free stuff" he grinned. I looked over at Sofie who had her eye brows raised in disapproval. "Here we go" she muttered. Angelina was already away buying anything and everything. I was holding Elwood now who was chewing on everything we walked past, Jake was leading Angelina around and pointing. The security agents were holding more bags then they could manage but there was no sign of stopping. I pulled Angelina, or Aunty Angelina to the side. "Thankyou so much, honestly, it's too much, we have to get home" I said pulling Jake and Elwood close to my chest. "But we've got so much to do, to buy" she smiled but saw the boys were already asleep. "Where's home? You're not staying?" Her face fell. "Homes a small apartment off Maine-et-Loire," I smiled gently. "You pay rent? You have a job?" She asked stroking Elwoods face gently as he slept. "Honestly no, I've been looking around but I've just taken some time to recover, I was shot in the shoulder. I moved in with these twos guys mom whilst I recovered for a stress free environment and give the two company" I smiled "Well it's settled, you all must come to the whitehouse for christmas" she squealed getting excited again. "I don't think that's going to work" imagine Falco, an international drug smuggler go to the whitehouse for Christmas, imagine seeing Mcarals again and imagine them meeting. "But the house feels so empty without you tearing around the place" she smiled sadly "and think about what everyone will think having kids around the place again. Oh please Lincoln, your father doesn't want to do this anymore, I promise you won't come to any harm, I promise Lincoln" she said hugging me. I smiled softly. "We'll see, I don't know" I said and she nodded understanding "oh".

We parted ways, Angelina said she'd have everything delivered despite my anxiousness about giving up my address. She did help me escape though. The boys were absaloutly passed out by the time we walked home and I understood why. When I got in Rachel was fuming. "You set the place on fire again?" I grinned placing the boys on the sofa. "Your father's coming round and you've set the place on fire, and oh what's Elwood been eating" she said looking at the black santa cookies. "Uh now we didn't actually eat them we went shopping" I smiled innocently "Oh so you went shopping huh? For groceries? So I'm not going to have to go shopping later? Oh how nice of you" she said sarcasticly. "Where's your shopping then?" Shit. "Uh it's being delivered?" I said and she rolled her eyes. "Well you put the boys down for a nap and we can start making dinner for tomorrow" she sighed "I have so much to do, what if your dad doesn't like it?" She worried. I pulled her into a hug "What? No chance" I grinned. "But if you really didn't want to cook, an old friend said we could come to theirs if we wanted. They're really famous for hosting people." I grinned, I could feel Rachel thinking. "Santa does have all those presents to wrap" she sighed. "Will your dad be okay with it? You know what his standards are like" she sighed and I grinned "No worries, and you deserve a break."

"IT'S CHRISTMAS IT'S CHRISTMAS" Jake shouted running abouts the house, I sprung up and grabbed Elwood and we all dived into Rachel's room and started bouncing on her bed. "RACHEL IT'S CHRISTMAS GET UP COME ON SANTA'S BEEN" I shouted in excitement.  "Howd I end up with three toddlers" she groaned sitting up. Suddenly the door bell rang "it's grampa it's grampa" Jake shouted running to the door. I opened it to see Darius Falco with the biggest sack of presents I'd ever seen. "Grampa grampa Santa's been look and a raindeer" Jake shouted. Elwood came crawling over giggling. I swooped him up and he reached out to be held by Falco. "Hey dad" I said grinning as he pulled me into a hug.

"That's odd the house usually smells of turkey by now" he said thoughtfully "You did turn the oven on right?" He joked. "Uh abouts that" I said nervously. "Rhett you told me you told your father" I heard Rachel shout. "Uh- a friend invited us over to eat there and Rachel deserved a break." I said and he shrugged "as long as I get fed you can shove me down a hole if you like" he grinned going to pick Elwood up.

After all the initial excitement a line of government SUVs pulled up outside. "They haven't come for me, not on Christmas day" Falco joked. "You're going to love where we're going" I joked and he looked over at me suspiciously. With some coaxing we all piled up in the SUV and headed to the whitehouse. Falco looked really worried till I explained slash lied about how we were friends.

I hadn't forgotten about Robbie or Reggie or Mr Clark either. I had sent them all $1000 dollars, Mr Clarks in cheque, Reggies online and Robbies in a trust fund only to be used when co-signed by Mr Clark.

I had also sent Kennys family and the other boys family $5,000 dollars each to cover costs of the funeral. Everything was done anonymously but I knew Reggie would track it back, and Mr Clark would bug him about it till he told he, Robbie wouldn't care, he'd probably be annoyed more than anything.

"Oh my precious babies" Angelina squealed excitedly. "Who the hell-" Rachel started off. "Angelina" I grinned pulling her into a hug. "Sofie" I grinned wider and she gave in and smiled back "I may have missed you a little bit I guess". "President Mcarals" I nodded at him but he pulled me in for a big hug "my boy I missed you" he said before standing straight again and nodding "You've been well?" He asked formally. I shrugged, "President Mcarals, meet the man who raised me, Darius Falco. Dad, meet my dad" I said stepping back as the two observed each other skeptically. It was Falco who broke into a grin first. "So you found out then" he grinned, I looked at him confused "You knew?" And he laughed "my boy, of course I knew, I chose you because I knew you had so much more potential and it became obvious, you're the spitting image of him, with your normal dark hair of course." He grinned. "Oh I thought..." President Mcarals grinned "i must admit, I'm glad you raised my son well," Elwood bit one of the security agents legs and Jake kept on saying Stranger Danger over and over.

But I; I had my family, and I loved them too much to care.
