The Forest

The party

I arrived at the party feeling confident which wasn't a feeling I normally have. I rang the doorbell and immediately somebody answered.It was Jennifer, she was the most popular girl in my entire school. Even though my school is pretty small it was still an honour to be popular.

She smiled. Something was going on. Everything was too good to be true. Everyone was crowded around the door, the music wasn't playing and everyone looked like they were waiting for something to happen.

"Come on in we have something extra awesome planned for you Sarah" she said extremely happily. I stepped one foot in the door and I felt something drop on me. It was a bucket of fruit punch waiting for my arrival just so it could drop on me. My hair was covered in red punch and my expensive jeans were covered in it. I heard everyone laughing and pointing at me. They found my humiliation hilarious. I scanned the room for my friends. None of which were even in that room.

"You all think this is funny?" I said as I cried tears of humiliation. "Your friends are in the basement if you want them." said Jennifer. I hate her. How is she so popular anyways. I ran into the basement. Great just what I need; more people to see me covered in fruit punch while crying.

They were all sitting side by side on the couch in the basement. They looked at me with a surprised look. It looked like they all had just seen someone die. Except for Ron. he laughed really loudly. "What the heck happened to you?" asked Ron. I rolled my eyes. Larry got off the couch and put his arm around my shoulder to comfort me. "We should leave." Larry suggested. "I can't believe you Ron! You're such an idiot!" Ashley hollered. "Come on. You know you can't leave me I'm your best friend." he said. Ashley rolled her eyes . everyone got off the couch and followed Larry and I upstairs however Ron stayed for the party.

We took the city bus back to my street.
