SO GO, SEND HER SOME LOVE
(Ps she may or may not be my girlfriend shush)Phil's POV:
Emmy was wrong. I was not in love with Dan Howell. No way. He was.. He is... God dammit. My brain was throwing words like 'perfect' and 'amazing' at me but, I can't describe Dan like that.
I told him I want to be friends and we are staying that way. I still don't trust him. Even though he was trying to charm me it wasn't working.
I was sat in his room, waiting for him to bring me up something to drink. I was really hoping for apple juice. We had to work more on our English project. Dan seemed to really love this poem 'Dulce et blah blah blah'. It was a war poem but had the message of antiwar? I dunno, Dan was trying to explain it to me.
He's been so nice to me and I'm loving spending time with him. He's so funny and sarcastic. It's so easy to get lost in those brown eyes of his...
My thoughts were interrupted as the door opened. Dan walked in carrying two glasses of apple juice. Hell fucking yes. I jumped up and took my glass of apple juice.
"Wow, someone likes apple juice! Do I not get a thank you?" Dan asked, half laughing.
"Oh yeah, thank you Daniel." I said, before finishing my apple juice.
"You're such a nerd."We both sat down on the bed and got back to working on the project. Occasionally, I would steal some of Dan's apple juice, but he didn't mind at all. He kept finding ways to make me laugh and his laugh was contagious.
Maybe Emmy was a little right. God damn her.
Emmy's POV:
"How has it been going?"
"Okay." I replied nervously.
"You're worrying me, the slightly gold wings aren't a very good sign."
"No ones ever been this kind to me, it's hard not to get attached."
"The brunette and the ebony one, get them together soon. No distractions."
"I'll try, sir."
"Also, help out that blond one. She's not in a healthy relationship."
"Okay."The call ended and I looked down at the phone. I felt like crying. Why were these things so hard?
Back to Phil's POV:
*timey wimey skip thingy Phil's gone home now*I had just finished talking to my mum about that events of the day. I told her all about being at Dan's house, working on the project and how we made dinner ourselves as his brother and parents were out. She was glad we didn't burn the house down. I had laughed at that.
I walked up to my room and lay down on my bed. I could not get Dan out of my mind. His laugh was amazing. His smile was perfect. I had never thought like this about anyone. I had always thought I was straight. Okay, that's a lie. There was that summer, but I had ignored that.
Dan was different. But, that's what he wants. He'll reel my in, then break my heart. God damn you Dan Howell.
He didn't even try make a move on me today. He was just kind and caring. Fuck sake. Suddenly, my phone buzzed. Probably another text from Emmy. I sighed and rolled over to grab my phone off my bedside locker.
I saw the number on the screen wasn't Emmy's but Dan's. Oh. I unlocked my phone and read the message. It put a big goofy grin on my face. It was going to be impossible to stay just friends with him if he keeps this up.
The message read: "I'm dying to see you again."
