I awoke to the sound of my alarm. I groaned, mentally reprimanding myself on forgetting to take my alarm off for the weekend. Now my sleep was ruined. I hit the dismiss button on my phone and rubbed my eyes. It was 5:00 a.m. Now I know what you're wondering. Why in the world would you willingly wake up at that time? It was a habit I got into my freshman year. I would hate doing my homework the day it was assigned, so I'd always wake up super early the next morning and manage to finish it all. Sometimes if I needed a shower that morning, I'd make sure to put my alarm an extra hour early. I know, I'm crazy.
Kicking the covers off me, I pattered to my closet and picked out some shorts and a t-shirt. Might as well go running today. I changed out of my pjs and put on my running clothes. Tying my hair back into a ponytail, I brushed my teeth before tying my shoes and going down the stairs to our kitchen. Everybody was still asleep.
I stuck my headphones into my ears and started jogging. Mouthing the words to the song, my mind quickly flitted to last night and what happened.
Sean.
A smile tugged at my lips as I remembered our conversations and how he put his number in my phone. I shook my head in disbelief, before wondering how I had never heard of him. I mean he had to go to a school near mine if he was at the dance last night, unless he just moved here.
I thought about Blake and if he was awake. A twinge of guilt hit me as I realized I didn't talk to him at all last night. I wondered what he spent his night doing, probably going out with his friends. He just didn't stay home and do nothing, he was always out and about. Not that there was anything wrong with that.
I made myself speed up until I was running as fast as I could. I closed my eyes, loving the feeling of the wind hitting my face. My heart started beating faster and faster, but I took deep, even breaths willing it to keep up. I finally reached my high school and slowed down for a walk, making my way to the park.
Taking my headphones out I sat down on a swing, pushing myself forward and back before I was flying in the air. I smiled, loving how quiet and calm everything was. It was pure bliss. I took in a deep breath before making myself down. Quickly hopping off my swing, I started jogging back home, until finally breaking into a run.
I got back home to how I had left it- quiet and peaceful. I checked my phone and saw it was barely 6:30. Huh, guess my body is growing accustomed to the running. I bounded up the steps to my room, with the plan of taking a shower.
After finishing showering, I checked my phone and saw I had a few new messages. One from Sean and a couple from Blake and Suzy. I decided to check Suzy's messages first.
You left without telling me! You better hope you're alive! Text me back once you read this.
I rolled my eyes at her message, before checking Blake's messages to me.
Hope you're having fun at the dance you were dragged to. (;
I'm guessing you're at the dance by now. You having fun?
Ah seems like my little Booklion is experiencing the wonders of going out at night. Well that's my assumption seeing how you haven't answered my messages, as you usually do.
Night Gorgeous. Hope you sleep well.(:
I couldn't help the grin that took over my face as I finished reading his messages to me. He was simply too cute! It was pretty obvious he missed me. I bit my bottom lip before answering his messages.
Aww did someone miss me yesterday? :b Kind of seems like you did. :) Yes, I did have fun the time being I was at the dance. Okay,that's kind of a lie. I only got to stay there for like 15 minutes before I left. But it was okay, I mean the people that were there seemed to be constipated... They should really consider taking some dance lessons. Ha! How was your day?
