(Kevin's POV)

"Goodnight best friend!" Elder Cunningham whispered.

"Goodnight, pal" I whisper back before turning my head and closing my eyes...

My eyes snap open. Why is Elder McKinley so cute!? No, Kevin, don't think that way. Don't think about his soft, ginger hair, or his ocean-colored eyes, or his bright smile.... NO. Turn it off, turn it off, turn it off...

Oh dear, how am I ever supposed to sleep while my brain is running 1,000,000 miles an hour?? Ugh.

I roll over, onto my back. I stare at the ceiling, wondering when or if I'll get some sleep tonight. After hours of trying to push away my thought of Elder McKinley, I dose off.

"Rise and shine, Elder Price! Don't wanna sleep in on our first day on the job!" Elder Cunningham cheerily yells a little too loudly, as always.

I grumble and roll off of my bed, catching myself before falling. I immediately walk into the restroom, rubbing my eyes and yawning. I look in the mirror.

"Oh. My. Gosh." I loudly say to myself. I look like crap. I must've gotten only 3 hours of sleep last night! Guess I gotta make my hair look better than normal to make up for how awful the rest of me looks...

I finally leave the bathroom and walk into the living room, where I see all the other Elders chatting and eating Pop-tarts. I walk into the kitchen to grab myself a pack of Pop-tarts before running head-on into someone. Oops...

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going I-" I stumbled off my sentence. Of course I had to run into my District Leader on my second day in Uganda. Of course.

"Oh! Hello Elder Price! Don't worry about it, it happens all the time! I'm sorry for not watching where I was going." Elder McKinley responds with a huge smile before giving me his pack of Pop-tarts.

My face immediately heats up, and I quickly excuse myself to the bathroom to splash my face with water. Nobody can see me like this! They'll think I'm sick.... o-or even worse!

After a few minutes of taking deep breaths and splashing my face, I walk back into the living room to start socializing. I see Elder Cunningham making friends with Elder Thomas and Elder Church.... Well, making friends' isn't exactly the right phrase.... more like he's trying to butt into their obviously personal conversation.

I don't exactly know any of the Elders here, so I approach Elder McKinley a little boldly, who's standing alone in the corner of the room, smiling as it looks like he's lost in thought.

(Connor's POV)

Gosh, Elder Price looks so cute today. His hair is so perfect and I just want to see it. I want to touch it.... I wanna run my hands through it... and his beautiful, dark, deep brown eyes just make me get lost into them and-

"Hello again, Elder McKinley. I'm sorry about bumping into you earlier, I should have watched where I was going." Elder Price is suddenly standing directly in front of me.

"Oh! H-hi Elder Price!" I reply, flustered for a second before regaining my composition and clearing my throat. "It's alright, stuff like that happens often when you're sharing a house with a lot of other people. I understand. So, how did you sleep last night?" I ask, trying to get to know the new recruit some more.

"I slept... okay. I guess I'm not really used to Uganda yet, so it might take a while before.... Hello? Elder McKinley?" Elder Price takes a step closer to me before I realize I was lost in thought, gazing into his eyes. NO McKinley, turn it off...

"Hm? Yeah? Uh, I guess it does take a little time b-before you can get comfortable here." I stutter, quickly trying to reply before Elder Price questions me.

"Okay, I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one." Elder Price smiles at me.

TIME SKIP

(Kevin's POV)

My eyes snap open. I quickly start gasping for air. I look around to see Elder McKinley and a few other Elders standing around me. I'm violently shaking and I can feel the sweat pooling all around me. That was the worst hell dream I've ever had, granted I've only had one other but.... STILL.

(Connor's POV)

"Elders! Elder Price finally woke up!" I yell to the others, more concerned about Elder Price than the other Elders knowing he was awake. I can already tell Elder Price had a hell dream, but I'm not sure if he wants the others to know.

"Oh, you had the hell dream, didn't you?" I suddenly found myself saying, without realizing it at first.

"Well- I, uh.... uhm-" Elder Price stammers.

I've had hell dreams every night since 5th grade, so I know exactly how Elder Price feels. But I can't stop myself from thinking "Was I in it?"

Elder Price looks at me, a look of confusion and horror etched across his face. He also looks at me in a 'Wait... what?' kind of way. Oh. Em. GOSH. I didn't just think that question now, did I? I actually said it out loud...
