Amber silently counted down the hours until the first term for the last year of her high school days would begin, with each passing moment adding to her anxiety. Who knows how the school would be for her. Would she even be able to make friends? Amber knew she had Jungkook who would be attending the same place, but it just wasn't the same. She technically didn't know much about him, there was a high chance, Amber felt, that her presence would just burden him. She was sure he had his circle of friends and it would be best if she stayed out of it.

"You ready yet Amber?"

Amber looked over her shoulder and saw how her manager leaned against the frame of her door.

"Yeesh. Yes, I am Oppa. Let's start heading out."

Amber quickly grabbed her backpack placed on her bed and sped out of her room following her manager to her car.

"Say, Oppa, isn't Jungkook coming with us? I don't see him. I mean, we are going to the same place and all."

"Ah, that. I thought so too. He apparently had a shoot to do so earlier in the morning, so he'll be coming straight to school from there. You ready?"

"Yeah...I guess.."

So much for having emotional support for the first day of school, Amber thought, though it wasn't as if Junkook knew he was her emotional support. And he couldn't help it either, he had a job to do unlike her currently.

Amber finally settled into the car, taking a seat next to her manager. She opened her bag and started rummaging through it until she finally found what she was looking for.

"Whatcha got there Amber?" her manager asked as he quickly glanced over at a smiling Amber.

In her hands, she gently held a blueberry flavored snack while supporting a barely visible but sincere smile. It was one of the many snacks that Yoongi had bought for her. Even if it was by a little, the snack helped her calm down. Not receiving a response from Amber, the manager decided not to press her and continued driving in comfortable silence.

Lost in her thoughts, she didn't realize that her manager had stopped the car. They had already reached her school.

"Well, here we are. Good luck out there Amber. You'll do great." Her manager called out to her as she stepped out of the car.

"Thank's dad." Amber chuckled as she closed the door.

Amber remained standing at the gate until her manager's car was out of sight.

"Well..... Amber Liu... here are your classes. I hope you adjust to this school soon." a tall thin woman in her mid 40's politely said as she handed Amber a piece of paper. Amber couldn't tell if this woman was the principal or the vice from the lack of introductions, nonetheless, she seemed very nice to Amber.

So far being in class wasn't so bad for Amber. It was, as Amber would describe it, pretty uneventful. And she wished it stayed that way. Lunchtime rolled around pretty soon, and chatters filled the halls. However, around her, she was pretty sure she could hear her classmates whispering something about her. Focusing on their words, Amber realized that it wasn't just about her...it was about BTS as well.

"Say" a male classmate broke through the whispers, confronting amber, "You're that girl that is dorming at BigHit right? So what are you? Are you their new trainee? Is BigHit planning on releasing their first girl group?"

This guy's questions were endless, and by the time Amber processed what was happening, almost the entire class had surrounded her, chiming in with their question. She had no idea what to do. They were asking so many questions at once, but not even giving her a chance to answer them.

But all was forgotten as a girl scream, "Jungkook is here!"

Just as if it never happened, Amber was sitting in her chair in peace again as everyone else exited into the halls. Boy was Jungkook popular, she thought. How was he going to help her if he couldn't help himself get through the halls?

Amber looked through the window facing the halls and saw a very tired-eyed lifeless Jungkook trudge by. And for a brief moment, Jungkooks tired eyes and Amber's concerned eyes met. And she could have sworn that after that little exchange happened, she saw him smile and sigh a sigh of relief.

Amber couldn't help but feel more concerned and confused. Should she even be worried about something trivial as this? By all means, the answer was yes.
