A new beginning

chapter 8:welcome to the dragon realm

when i got there i saw a girl with pale blue hair almost white and cobalt blue eyes.she was atleast 10 or 12years old. i looked at her for a couple more seconds before walking up to her "um...escuse me..." she turned around and looked at me with fierce eyes, but she soon smiled brightly while hugging me making me confused and stunned. she let me go with a grin plastered on her face "hi I'm sura mashiba, and you must be lucy heartphilia! i have been dying to meet you!" she says enthusiastically. i stared at her blankly still confused about this setuation. "im a ice dragon slayer and im here to take you to the dragon realm" she says noticing my puzzled expression. i nodded while she turned and put her hand up in front of her and said some word in a different language. when she was done portal opened up and eyes formed around the edges. sura walked through the portal and watched me from the other side. i walked up to it and took a deep breath as i tried to walk through. i repeat tried. a barely noticable barrier kept me from getting through and it felt as if it was forcibly pushing me away which made me fall.

sura walked out the portal and it disapeared behind her in flakes of snow and ice. she had a concerned expression on her face "lucy there seems to be some type of darkness lingering around your heart...did anything happen in the past that could have caused this? " she asked.

i looked down to the ground and looked back at my past. when i was younger my mother died and my father ignored me....but that didnt cause this...oh i remember now, it was from a old family that claimed they loved me but they ended up replacing me and called me weak...
fairytail. i looked back up with eyes full of sorrow,betrayal,and hatred "yeah there was" i mumbled she nodded "ok listen to me very carefully ok?" she asked "ok" replied. "i want you to take a deep breath and pile up all your memories then i want you to burn them got" i nodded and closed my eyes; i piled up all my memories even the good ones and burned them untill there was nothing but ash. i thought it would have been harder than that but i was wrong, and i also felt a big amount of weight lift off my shoulders. "good now take another deep breath and this time pile up all your feeling and burn them" i nodded and took another deep breath in. i piled up all my feelings and burned them but it started to hurt, it felt as if my heart were about to explode but i was able to make it through. i sigh as all the weight left my shoulders and i reopened my eyes and everything looked so much clearer i was even able to see things clearer.

sura smiled at me and reopened the portal when she was done she walked in waiting on the other side. i walked up to the portal and took a deep breath while stepping through, but right after i steped through the portal i was rooted to my spot at the beutiful sight before me. what i saw almost looked like edolas(probably spelled that wrong)but with dragon, lots of dragons. "wow..." was all i could say which made sura laugh "welcome to the dragon realm".
