A new beginning

cahapter 5: chosen one

sorry about the late updates I have been busy lately and

this might be a short chapter since I am in a rush token XC i

promise to make the next one longer

oh and I don't own fairytail if I did Lucy would have been stronger than erza. hehe

I woke up early in the morning feeling oddly happy but I rubbed it off and went to take a quick shower since I knew this was the beginning of a long day. After the shower I got changed did my hair and headed towards my desk where the box full of books were. I decided to start with learning the whole history of my magic and was shocked to find that there are multiple levels of my magic and I can learn it quit easily. I figured out that celestial mages are rare to find and if they controlled there magic they can be stronger than dragon slayers!!WHAT!? wow I didn't know that...well I finished my history and decided that I should learn new spells. I grabbed 3 more books out of the box that contain spells and decided to memorize them so if I'm ever in a battle I can try them out. (I feel a

little lazy so I gonna skip some oh and she memorized all the spells and now shes going to read more about the three dragons)

                                       time skip

I was learning more about the dragons when a picture on one of the pages cought my eye. it was a symbol of a Chinese dragon well two of them one was a black dragon the other white. they swirled together almost and formed a yin Yang and it had some stars on around it. I stared at it in interest and one thing went through my head 'ive seen this before but where?' it then hit me and I gasped in surprise. I put the book down and lifted my shirt up just above the belly button to see the exact tattoo well more like birthmark on my stomach close to my belly button. then I remembered my mother telling me about this...

                                     flash back

'MAMA!MAMA!guess what!!' a little Lucy yelled running to her mother and jumping on her dress making the mother laugh a buetiful laugh. 'what is it Lucy?' layla asked giving her daughter a part on the head. 'I was taking a bath with my toys and noticed this mark on my tummy what is it?' Lucy asked her voice full of curiosity. layla smiled 'its a birth mark but it is also something important it means you are the princess and you will be able to learn any magic you desire its just up to you to decide if your going to use it for good or bad'  Lucy looked at her mother in confusion but smiled anyway 'you'll understand when the time comes' layla woad graving her daughters hand and headed inside.

                              flash back over

Lucy smiled at the memory in understanding. she gently traced her fingures over the mark and put her shirt down, so she can get back to reading.

                                      time skip

she just finished every single book and was heading back to the library so she can give it back to them. she looked up at the sky and saw that it was getting late so she picked up her pace. when she reach the library she gave them the books and left quickly so she wont get stuck in the dark...alone...with creepy stalkers.

that made her shuddered at the thought and she decided to run home afraid of what would happen once the sun disappears for the night.

                               (Lucy's pov)

I got back and took a quick shower. I got out and looked around thinking that nats- NO I wont think about them I'm going to move on. I shook my head to get it of my mind and laughed bitterly as I thought 'old habits dye hard he'.

I fell on my bed and fell into a deep sleep wondering why I was the chosen one and of what...?
