ORLANDO'S POLAROID!

the annoying alarm clock rang inside mackenzie's ears. she rolled over and slowly opened her eyes. looking around, she realized she fell asleep on the couch again.

LAST NIGHT

mackenzie's eyes felt her eyes droop as she waited for her husband johnny to come home.

the time read 12:37 and johnny usually came home around 9:45 and this was the latest he came home.

mackenzie called his phone and he still didn't answer after 17 other calls. "where is he?" mackenzie whispered to herself.

their daughter emily was peacefully sleeping with her favourite owl stuffy. mackenzie had already tucked emily into bed around 7:00.

mackenzie sighed and sent another text, no respond and he still didn't respond.

mackenzie stood up from the couch and walked upstairs to look inside her's and johnny's bedroom. she peeled inside and saw the shirtless sleeping man.

mackenzie smiled and slowly walked towards the bed. she sat down and gave a kiss on the side of his head.

he slowly woke up and smiled, mackenzie smiled back and softly whispered. "it's emily's birthday."

johnny yawned before replying; "i know, she's turning seven."

mackenzie chuckled and heard the soft footsteps of emily getting out of her bed and walking towards their bedroom.

"mommy, daddy," emily opened the bedroom door, tiredly but excited at the same time.

johnny and mackenzie both turn their heads at the little brunette with some blonde streaks in her hair. johnny smiles and gestured emily to walk over to them.

emily did what her father gestured her to do and she climbed up onto the big double-sized bed. emily sat down at the edge of the bed, looking at her parents as they looked back at her.

"happy birthday, beautiful." mackenzie smiled widely as emily did the same. "thank you mommy,"

johnny looked at the two females; feeling proud of himself. "you're turning seven, isn't that exciting?" johnny questioned and cheekily grinned.

emily nodded and yawned, "i'm really tired. am i aloud to sleep in today?" emily asked and johnny nodded.

"i'll go make blueberry pancakes for you and i, john." mackenzie stood up from the bed; emily copying her actions and the two females walking out the bedroom.

emily walked back into her room and slept for a little while mackenzie was making the pancake batter. johnny lazily sat on the bed and scrolled through instagram, liking posts as he read captions.

emily giggled as she and her best friend caleb, (who's carson and annie's son) played and ran around the mcdonald's play-place.

mackenzie and annie chatted away while johnny and carson did the same. the four adults chewed on french fries and some burgers.

"i can't believe emily's 7 already." annie said as she watched mackenzie's daughter go down the slide. "i know, my little baby is getting old." mackenzie responded as the two girls chuckled.

"do you plan on a second child?" mackenzie asked annie. annie shrugged her shoulders before replying. "well, not right now at least. but i'd like to have a second child."

mackenzie nodded and the two females continued to chat and eat their food.
