ORLANDO'S POLAROID!

"what do you want for your birthday, emily?" carson asked, wiping some sweat off of caleb's face with a tissue.

"i want a new bike." answered emily as she dipped a chicken nugget into the sweet and sour sauce.

annie smiled and looked at caleb. waiting for what he was gonna say next. "what? i want a new bike too!" caleb said, narrowing her eyes at emily.

"you copied me!" emily pointed her finger at caleb and huffed.

"now, now, i'm sure both of you can get bikes and go biking together." mackenzie said and chuckled.

"caleb, what's your gift for emily?" annie teasingly questioned her son, making johnny and mackenzie look at her.

caleb's cheeks instantly went red, making emily confused.

"nothing! shut up mom!" caleb said out of embarrassment, annie and carson both laughed.

"what is it?" emily questioned but caleb simply ignored her and ate his cheese burger.

"please tell me, uncle carson." emily put her hands together and gave him puppy eyes.

before emily questioned, carson was peacefully eating his french fries and suddenly stopped.

"daddd, don't tell her!" caleb slouched down, he looked upset. carson patted his son's head and shook his own.

"i won't, sorry emily." carson replied and went back to eating his french fries.

mackenzie looked down at her watch and realized the time. "oh shoot. emily, johnny and i have to get home."

caleb pouted and glanced at emily who was finishing up her last 3 chicken nuggets.

"okay em, say bye to uncle carson, aunt annie, and caleb." johnny spoke before standing up from his seat.

"bye uncle carson, bye aunt annie, bye caleb!" emily gave the three of them cheeky grins as the three of them waved bye.

Johnny took Emily's hand and held it.

as johnny drove home, mackenzie and johnny were chatting and rambling about some random things.

caleb popped up and the two adults talked about how amazing of a kid he is.

"mommy, what are you talking about? caleb's mine!" emily butted into their conversation. mackenzie chuckled at her daughter's statement.

"nothing sweetheart and yes, caleb's yours." kenzie responsed. emily nodded and looked out the car window.

"caleb didn't give me a gift." emily sighed and pouted.

"he didn't? i thought he-" johnny almost finished his sentence but stopped. "never mind."

kenzie chuckled and looked back at emily once again. "let's just go home."

when the three orlandos came home, emily rushed upstairs to her bedroom. still a bit sad about caleb not giving her a gift.

"why did you come home so late last night?" mackenzie asked and sat down at the dining table.

johnny opened the fridge and opened up a water bottle. "work. what else?" johnny responded, giving some attitude.

"and how do i know you were working and not hooking up with some bitch?" mackenzie arugued, using the same tone of voice johnny used.

"really? you think i'm not loyal? wow." johnny rolled his eyes at mackenzie's comment.

"well do you have any proof you weren't out with anyone?" mackenzie crosses her arms over her chest and narrowed her eyes at her husband.

"mackenzie! do you hear yourself right now? i was at work. no where else." johnny yelled, making mackenzie jump.

emily's footsteps were heard and when mackenzie turned around to look at her daughter, she was holding a pink teddy bear.

"caleb got me a teddy bear." she softly said and forced a smile on her face.

"how sweet of him," mackenzie faked a smile back and walked over to her daughter.

"go to bed now honey, it's late." mackenzie whispered and kissed her cheek.

"okay." emily responded and yawned. emily turned around and walked back upstairs.

after emily disappeared upstairs, mackenzie turned around and johnny had already left the kitchen.

she sighed, "he's probably in his office or in the gym room." mackenzie whispered to herself and headed upstairs.
