mackenzie put the covers over emily's small little body. before leaving her room, she kissed her head and smiled.

even through all the tough times between mackenzie and johnny, emily will always be there to remind mackenzie that it was worth it.

it was worth all the fights, arguments and even breakups. in the end; mackenzie and johnny got married and emily was born.

mackenzie sniffed and wiped a tear away. "i love you so much, beautiful girl." mackenzie whispered.

she stood up and closed emily's bedroom door. right as when she turned around johnny came out of the main bathroom and looked at mackenzie.

mackenzie sighed as the two of them embraced each other. "i'm sorry." johnny whispered into her ear.

"i don't mean to be home so late, i promise i'm not with any other girls but you and emily." johnny continued, mackenzie hugged him tighter.

"i love you, like.. a lot."

the next morning; johnny had already left for work and left some bacon and eggs for mackenzie and emily.

emily had a 2 hours to be ready for school so after mackenzie was finished toothbrushing, she walked downstairs to prepare herself and emily's plate.

after finishing, emily came down and ate the food. while emily was eating; mackenzie was packing her daughter's backpack.

"did you finish your homework yesterday night?" mackenzie questioned emily, emily responded with a "uh-huh"

mackenzie said "good" and went back upstairs to change into some jeans and a t-shirt.

after dropping emily at school, mackenzie headed to the local starbucks and ordered a pink drink (strawberry acai refresher).

going through instagram and social media she smiled at the notification that popped up on her screen.
