ORLANDO'S POLAROID!

"hi aunt kenzie! hi emily," caleb grinned seeing the two females at the doorstep.

"where's uncle johnny?" caleb questioned; looking at emily for an answer. emily and caleb locked eye contact but emily simply shrugged her shoulders.

"he's not feeling well." mackenzie replied and looked down. caleb nodded, stepping aside to let them get inside the house.

annie came out of the hallway and frowned at mackenzie. mackenzie shook her head and put her's and emily's shoes on the shoe rack.

"have you been doing anything after school, caleb?" mackenzie questioned before eating what was on her spoon.

caleb nodded before he answered her question. "i've been playing football, baseball and some badminton."

"what about you, emily? what have you been doing these days?" asked carson. emily finished chewing her food before she answered.

"i've been going over to mia's house lately. she's fun to be with." emily explained and complimented her best friend.

"oh, don't forget that you've also been going to tyler's house too." mackenzie adds on, making caleb shoot his head up to look at emily.

"what? you've been going to caleb's house lately?" caleb questioned with a shocked face. emily simply nodded.

"why? does caleb have a crush?" annie teased her son and caleb quickly shook his head.

"no i don't mom, stop saying lies." caleb attempted to cover up but his cheeks said otherwise.

"caleb's blushing!" mackenzie pointed out, making carson, annie and herself laugh.

"thanks for the dinner, thanks for entertaining us, caleb." mackenzie thanked the three as she tied emily's shoes.

"i'll make sure to tell emily you were blushing because of her." carson whispered into his son's ear.

"can't hear you!" caleb responded, putting both of his pointer fingers in his ears.

"have a safe night you two, drive safe mackenzie." annie hugged her best friend and kissed emily's cheek.

mackenzie and emily came home to johnny watching tv. "emily, go to your room." mackenzie whispered and emily nodded.

"thanks for not inviting me to come." johnny rolled his eyes but mackenzie couldn't see.

"you didn't even wanna go." mackenzie replied and hung up his sweater.

"why are you blaming everything on me? what did i do?" johnny turned to look at mackenzie.

"i just need you to shut up." mackenzie said and walked into the kitchen, completely ignoring johnny.

"seriously!" johnny yelled from the living room. mackenzie didn't reply.

mackenzie and johnny bumped shoulders as mackenzie walked inside their bedroom.

"watch it." johnny spoke and walked down the stairs to get his bag.

"i'm leaving, emily come give me a kiss on the cheek." johnny announced. emily did what he told her to do and she ran down the stairs to hug and kiss her dad.

"bye daddy," emily said and locked the front door after johnny got into his car.

emily frowned, she heard the two fights her parents had. she looked over at the coffee table in the middle of the living room.

she saw polaroid pictures on it and curiously, she walked over to it.

emily looked through the polaroids and saw an odd picture of her dad. it looked like he wasn't ready for the picture but he still smiled.

"mommy! what's this picture of daddy?"
