A/N:

Hey nonexistent readers!

I keep writing the story and nobody reads it.

It's not bad though. I think it's coming out pretty well.

I mean Sky Ashton, anyone?

*wink wink*

There are so many people in the story and if I write what they look like in the story then it will be too much.

So I'll give their physical description here:

Jade Embers: Dark red hair (long), almost crimson and jade green eyes. 5' 7" Pale skin.

Sky Ashton: Dark dark dark brown hair, grey eyes. Slightly tanned skin. 6' 1"

Ruby Embers: Long mahogany hair, grey-green eyes. Creamy skin. 5' 5"

Zakumi Benton (Z): Short, spiky blonde hair, hazel eyes. Light skin tone. 5' 9"

Daniel Ward (Dan) : Short blond hair, blue eyes, light skin tone. 6'

Jay Parker: Short, spiky black hair, brown eyes, pale skin. 5' 10"

Mason Carter (Mace): Black hair, light brown eyes, coffee skin. 6'

Eric Summers: Shaggy blond hair, blue eyes, light skin tone.

6'

Ryder Ford: Black hair, dark brown eyes, caramel skin. 6' 2"

May Mathews: Long blonde hair, blue eyes, light skin tone.

5' 6"

Candace Green (Candy): Long auburn hair, brown eyes, light skin tone. 5' 8"

So without further ado,

Two Days Later:

I am leaning against my locker, with Z, waiting for the others. They're all late on account of some "killer" party they had last night.

I didn't feel like dressing up and going to someone's house to drink warm beer and make out so I stayed at home playing videogames.

(Not that I have anyone to make out with.)

"Ugh, those morons." Z mutters as she glances at her watch. Z as a conscientious student really hates being late to class.

Unlike the rest of them she attended the party and still managed to pick me up from my house on time and drive to school. She has the sense to control her alcohol intake.

Suddenly the doors open and the rest of our group stumbles in. Its like an episode of The Walking Dead with one normal guy. Jay, Daniel and Ryder are wearing sunglasses. May is carrying a cup of coffee in each hand is intermittently drinking from both of them, Candy is squinting in our direction and Eric is lightly hitting himself on the right side of his head.

Only Mason walks in smiling, as sober as ever.

Now most people would take this as a sign of his immense self control. His ability to abstain impressing them. But I know Mason, and I can say without a doubt that he has consumed double the amount of alcohol that the others have consumed and then some. Guy can drink like pirate.

"Hey look at Mason. He probably inhaled an entire keg last night and he's still completely fine." says Z echoing my thoughts.

"Its all about practice man." I say nodding my head wisely.
