Christine was hurrying around her apartment gathering her things. Her heart was racing, and she just wanted to leave. Wes pulled up and waited for her in the car as instructed. They were leaving for her mother's house to get away from James. Christine was in her bedroom zipping up her bag. She grabbed her phone and unplugged her charger when she felt a sharp prick in her neck. She dropped her phone which fell under her bed then raised her hand to her neck and spun around. "No-" James stood behind her with a syringe in his hand. He quickly dropped it and put his hand over her mouth. Within a minute Christine felt her body weaken and she slumped down. James caught her before she could fall. Her eyes fluttered, and everything went black. He lifted her body up and into his arms where he slipped out of her apartment and took the stairwell down toward the alley where he had parked his car. She gently put her inside and secured her seatbelt then hopped in and drove off.
Five minutes passed, Wes picked up his phone and called Christine. After four rings, it went to voicemail. "What the-" he started then got out of the car and ran into the building, letting Eric know that he can't reach her, and he needs to go up there now, that she may be hurt. Once off the elevator, Wes turned the knob on her door which was still unlocked. "Chris?" He yelled. He went to the bedroom. Her things were still there. "Chris? Where are you?" Something was wrong. Christine was gone. He pulled out his phone and called Linda to tell her that Christine was missing, then he called the police.
James's car headed down a dirt road then turned toward his cabin an hour later. He looked over at Christine who was still unconscious. Knowing how much Ketamine he gave her, she would be out for maybe another twenty minutes. Once he parked around back her carried her into the cabin and locked the locks on the door, all three of them and put his keys back into his pocket. He carried her to the basement, to a room he had made for her and laid her on the full bed. The room was furnished for her, with clothing, hair brush, tooth brush and any other necessities she needed. The joining door to the room was a full bathroom, he had decorated to her liking. Once she was comfortable he left and went upstairs, locking the door behind him. He smiled to himself. He now had his Christine.
Christine stirred, feeling groggy and light-headed she rolled over in bed. Her light was on indicating that it was nighttime. She reached for her phone on the night table, only to find that there was no night table. She opened her eyes, and everything started to spin as her vision became clearer. She looked around and saw she was in a room that wasn't hers. She searched her pockets for her phone. No phone. Panic set in as she got out of bed. Her legs felt weak and she stumbled, catching herself on the side of the bed. "Hello." Then started to yell, "HELLO"! No answer. Christine sat on the bed and cried. A few moments later she heard the lock unlock and the door creek open. Christine stood quickly, praying that this was her chance to leave. Her face turned even whiter when she saw him enter the room. "Oh god, no"! she wept. "James, please." She shook her head and backed up until she was cornered. She began to panic again, this time shaking with fear. "Don't be scared. I gave you your life, for me". Christine swatted at his hand he reached out to her. "What"? He retracted his hand. "The moment I saw you, I knew that you were the one".
James stood in front of Christine with his arms crossed. Christine stood frozen with tears falling down her cheeks. "There was no way I was going to win your affection, so I took it. Do not make this harder on yourself. You will come around, eventually. When, it's up to you." James said smoothly. His tone was calm. His face, expressionless. "In the meantime, there is a fully stocked bathroom, except for scissors or nail clipper. Don't want any, accidents. If you behave, you may come out of this room. If not; well, let's not get to that point. Have I made myself clear?" Christine nodded her head and sat down. "I'm going to check on dinner. Go freshen up." James turned and exited the room, Locking the door behind him. Christine quickly ran to the bathroom and vomited into the toilet. Once done, she sat on the floor crying hysterically. "This can't be happening," she said. She needed to get out of there. But how? He has her locked up with no windows. She had no idea where she was. How could she get help?
