Chapter 12

Not being able to take it anymore, Ebony angrily got out the bed to see what all the commotion was about. She stomped into the living room area as the laughing continued. Ebony directed her attention towards Alexis to see her eating a bowl full of grapes. She paused and squinted with confusion. Before jumping to conclusions, Ebony went into the fridge to see if Alexis maybe had brought her own fruit.

Ebony's attitude grew once she noticed Alexis was eating her stuff. When she first moved in, she explained to Rudy not to take anything of hers without asking. Her and Rudy got comfortable enough to ignore that one rule when it came to food, but Ebony wasn't that fond of Alexis yet. She slammed the fridge door and went to say something.

"Aye!" Ebony yelled to catch their attention.

"Rudy, why she eating my stuff?" Ebony made eye contact with Rudy while pointing to Alexis.

"Huh? We eat each other food all the time, I didn't think you would mind. Plus you was sleep and I ain't wanna wake you." Rudy shrugged.

"Did you ask? You ain't pay for that." She continued talking to Rudy.

"Girl. We can buy you some more fruit, it's not that serious la' baby." Alexis laughed and ate another grape, pissing Ebony off even more.

"I don't need you to buy me nothing, love. I wasn't even talking to yo ass so shut up." Ebony put her hand out to silence Alexis.

"Shut up? Rudy, you better get this Oompa Loompa looking bitch with that orange ass hair. I'm getting real sicka' you saying whatever to me." Alexis mugged Ebony.

Ebony was past the point of caring what people thought about her, but this was Alexis' second time making fun of Ebony's orange hair. This reminded her so much of middle school and she was ready to teach Alexis a lesson. Fed up, Ebony was ready to fight.

"Gimme this shit!" Ebony snatched the bowl and threw it behind her.

"Bitch." Alexis stood up with her fists balled after watching the grapes roll on the ground.

"Alexis. Sit down." Rico said, wondering what was wrong with Ebony.

"Listen to yo nigga, hoe!" Ebony kicked off her house shoes.

"This bitch don't know me, man. I'm a changed person, but we can take it there." Alexis sighed.

"What is y'all doing? Over some fucking grapes? I'll get you some more if it's an issue." Rudy stood up too.

"Naw, you don't know me! BITCH!" Ebony punched Alexis in the jaw.

Not expecting such a powerful punch, Alexis almost fell down, but she held her weight. She swung back, uppercutting Ebony in the chin. Ebony hit Alexis with a strong right hook and then quickly swung with her left. Alexis retaliated by punching Ebony in her right eye. Ebony's vision got a little blurry, but she continued throwing hard hits. Both of them had on rings and fought with the intent to do some damage. Ebony dodged a bunch of punches, but like herself, Alexis was pretty fast with her hands.

"Rudy if you jump me, I'll kill both you bitches." Ebony saw Rudy getting closer.

"Bitch, I'm tryna break it up! Nobody wanna jump you!" Rudy yelled.

"We did not come back home for this shit." Alexis' boyfriend tried grabbing Alexis.

"Let me go!" Alexis yelled.

They circled the living room, maneuvering around Rudy and Rico. Ebony swung, hitting Alexis in her lip and then the nose. Alexis grabbed Ebony by the neck while punching her in the side of the head. Ebony was starting to get tired from swinging so hard and fast so she started kneeing and kicking Alexis in her stomach and in between her legs.
