i came into the record shop today and saw you serving a young woman.

you ran around trying to help her find some prissy pop music album, which in the end, didnt exist. she had slaughtered the band name and the album title which didn't give you much information, but even after throwing you around for half an hour and in the end she walked out empty handed, you still smiled.

you smiled this bright smile that held life and genuinity and beauty and i just love that smile.

i just love your smile.

so I just wanted to say, thank you for smiling.

because now, no matter how dark it is outside, no matter if the stars aren't out, and the world is turning to shit, I can still remember your smile. a smile that can stop time and save lives.

so this chapter is just a note from ashton to the main character but in the long run it will be a big deal so remember that
