A/N: Followed my sister to get herself a haircut and when I went out of my car I heard Niall singing! I looked back and saw that there was this car wash that was playing “More Than This”! I’m glad to know that they recognized more songs than WMYB & One Thing. Anyways, back to the story…

Chapter 2

I literally jumped out of the car as soon as Denise parked. It was SOOO huge. I quickly turned into a little girl and dragged Denise out the car and into the amusement park. “LET’S GO TO THE FERRIS WHEEL FIRST!” I said a bit excited. “Okay Ella, just calm down! I thought you weren’t in the mood a while ago? I thought you didn’t feel like celebrating “early”?” She said, putting air quotes on early. I rolled my eyes. “Whatever, I changed my mind. COME ON!” I said, pulling her to the really huge Ferris wheel.

**Denise’s POV**

I’ve never seen her like this! I mean, I’ve seen her all happy and all that stuff, but NOTHING compared to this! She’s always that girl who didn’t seem to show many emotions. She was just a really normal girl. I knew this was a great idea! I’m a genius aren’t I? We’re about to go on the Ferris wheel. Whoa. This is a really BIG one. You can do this Denise. You can face it! Think about Niall, think about Niall.

**Ella’s POV**

I looked back to see Denise and I could already tell she was a bit afraid. I mean, who wouldn’t? This Ferris wheel was HUUUUGE! I squeezed her hand lightly and gave her a small smile. “It’ll be fine, trust me!” I said as we were about to ride it.

After a few rides, some games, and food I saw the sun beginning to set. I checked on my phone, it’s about 6:30. Wow. We’ve been here that long? Time does fly by quickly. I turned to check on Denise, she was playing this carnival game where you shoot water into the clown’s mouth to make the balloon pop. I forgot what it was called though. As she was playing that game, I couldn’t help but think about him again. I shook my head. NO. You gotta stop it Ella. But those pretty, blue eyes. Don’t get me started on his beautiful brown hair. And his personality was what I loved the most. The fact that you can act like kids with him, I loved it. I spent half my child years WISHING I was older. Well, let’s just say it wasn’t what I thought it would be. NOTHING AT ALL. I wished I could go back to when I was still a little kid. I knew I wasted those years. That’s why I wanted someone like him to come along. I wanted someone like Louis Tomlinson. I was then sucked back into reality when I heard the balloon pop and Denise got a really big stuffed dog. Oh Denise. I giggled. She came up to me and she said, “IT’S SO FLUFFYYYYY!” I eventually laughed a bit too much to the point where I was rolling on the ground laughing. Oh well. She helped me up and she said something about a rollercoaster. “NO WAY. I AM NOT GOING ON A ROLLERCOASTER. NEVER!” I said a bit scared. I’m not a big fan of rollercoasters because… they’re just really scary.

“Oh come on! You gotta enjoy this rollercoaster that is life!” She said, grinning. “NOOOOO! I don’t wanna!” I said. “Is Ella being a scared-y cat? Is Ella being a big old baby? Is Ella being-” I cut her off before she could say anything else.

“Alright, I’m riding this thing just to prove you wrong.” I said, determined to face this beast. I was still a bit shake-y though. What have I gotten myself into?

“I HATE YOU DENISE JACOBSON!” I said after the rollercoaster ride. I thought I was about to be sick. No, suck it up Ella! I heard Denise laughing. “I love you too Ella Smith.” She said, still chuckling. “If only you were in my shoes.” I said, giving her a glare. I could tell she was trying not to laugh. I’m never going in a rollercoaster ever again.

“We should probably go. It’s getting a bit dark.” I told Denise. She nodded and we headed to the exit.

We saw a bunch of girls who were smiling at us and I knew they were talking about us. “Why are they looking at us like that?” I whispered to Denise. “Just keep walking.” She muttered. When we were almost at the exit, we heard a girl shout out, “YOU UGLY PIECE OF SH*TS!” I looked back and then saw that Denise was already walking over to the group of girls. I tried to stop her, but considering my size against her, I couldn’t stand a chance. I mean, Denise can be really peppy and happy all the time, but she is very protective. She also took karate and Ju Jitsu, you really don’t wanna mess with her. She was like a big sister to me. I chose to wait until she came back, but those girls look terrified. I better go check it out before things get too overboard…

“What seems to be the problem here?” Acting as though I was an officer. I looked up at Denise, she seemed tense. I rubbed her back gently to calm her down. “Nothing, I was just teaching them a lesson…” She muttered. I looked at the bunch of girls and they were all wearing 1D shirts. I see, Directioners. “You guys part of the 1D Family, huh? I don’t really think we should even be calling you directioners because of what you did back there. You’re doing what you call bullying. One of our idols cried because YOU PEOPLE don’t ever stop running your mouth! I’m not only talking to you guys but to everyone who went waaaay over the line. I mean-” Denise cut me off before I could say something else. I felt tears running down my face. I hate talking about bullying. That’s what changed me into this dull person I am now. “I think we’re done here.” Denise said and we both headed for her convertible. We drove off and left the amusement park, those girls… People just don’t seem to show respect in this world anymore.

She put her stuffed dog in the back and I think she named it Niall. I gave her a small smile and we drove off. It was an awkward drive so I decided to turn on the radio. “Gotta Be You” was playing. You have got to be kidding me? I turned to Denise who was already grinning. I knew for a fact that she was waiting for the chorus.

“Can we fall, one more time?

Stop the tape, and rewind.

Oh, and if you walk away,

I know I’ll fade

‘cause there is nobody else…”

“IT’S GOTTA BE YOUUUUUUUUUU!” she said, screaming at the top of her lungs. I pressed my hands against my ears and shouted, “YOU’RE SO LOUUUUUD!” “ONLY YOUUUUUUU!” She screamed, as she was pointing at me. I gave her a glare. After the chorus was over she said, “Honey, aren’t I always loud?” She said, grinning. I sighed and was relieved to see that we were already near the club.

We had to walk a few blocks because there was no parking available. So I got out of the car ready for a five-minute walk. Denise asked if she could bring her stuffed dog with her. “Of course you can bring your stuffed dog! At least now you already have a partner to dance with.” I said sarcastically. She playfully pushed me and she left the stuffed dog in her car. Thank goodness. The club was right around the corner, but we had to cross the street. It was a pretty busy night because there was traffic literally everywhere! Across the street there was the club and an open bar next to it. There was this guy drinking his beer alone. I frowned, I don’t like seeing people alone and depressed. I was also pretty sure beer wasn’t gonna help it. He was wearing stripes, weird. It’s EXACTLY what Louis wears. I could only see the back of him, but I had a really big feeling that was him. My heart started to race, I can finally give him the hug I so desperately wanted to give him. Denise was confused, so I told her to wait at the entrance of the club for a while. I tapped on the man’s shoulder, this is it. I’m about to hug THE Louis Tomlinson.

He looked back. NYAAAAH. That wasn’t Louis! It was some other dude with really big eyes that looked NOTHING like Louis. He was also practically drunk. Ew. I could smell the beer as he speaking. “Is there something I can help you with sexy lady?” He slurred. “No. I uh, thought you were some other guy I knew.” He was checking me out. UGH. Disgusting. I quickly began walking backwards, apologizing to the drunken man. He walked forward to me and slurred out, “Kiss me.” I began to panic. I ran out the bar and into oncoming traffic. I saw a car heading straight for me. This is it. Goodbye world. I closed my eyes tightly knowing this was the end. My heart was racing. The car was honking its horn telling me to get out the way, but my legs didn’t seem to budge. Then, I felt a hard tug on my shirt. Someone pulled me out of the way! Someone just saved my life! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh. I stood up, still a bit shaken. I had a feeling it was Denise. She was the only one I knew who could've seen me. "Denise, oh my gosh, I freakin-" I turned around and stopped mid sentence. This wasn't Denise? I looked up and saw a pair of blue dazzling eyes, glistening under the moonlight. It was...
