I Thought I Lost You

Chapter 9

Haru was able to calm down a bit. Rin helped calm him down which only made Sousuke more angry.

Rin didn't want to hurt Sousuke, he didn't even know Sousuke was hurting. Rin was just trying to help his best friend. He didn't want to see Haru suffer over Makoto death because Rin also blamed himself for Makoto death. He could have done something but he didn't. The only way he felt he could make it up to Haru is helping him with anything he needed.

They had taken Haru home. Rin had went to go get some food so no one would make anything. Sousuke went uo to Haru and glared at him scaring Haru a little.

"Listen here dolphin boy," Sousuke leaned down to his face was infront of Haru's. "Rin is mine and I wont let you take him from me."

"I-I'm not trying to do so," Haru gulped in fear.

"He's favoring you over me!" Sousuke forcely pined Haru down to the couch. "Haru this! Haru that! I'm tired of it!"

"Y-Yamazaki calm d-dowm, p-please, y-you'll hurt t-the baby," Haru whines in pain and tries pushing Sousuke off but couldn't.

"I don't care! Your taking everything away from me so I'll to the same!" Sousuke slapped him and punched his stomach. "You didn't want the kid anyway!"

Haru starts crying in pain, "P-Please... S-Stop, d-don't hurt the b-baby."

Sousuke ignores the raven haired boy and kicks him to the floor, "It's time that you feel what I do."

"S-Sousuke, p-please," Haru cries curling up trying to protect his baby from the angry teal eyed man.

Sousuke kicks him in his back, "No, not until thay kid is gone."

"Sousuke I'm begging you!" Haru yells trying to get away but is hard to.

Sousuke makes the dolphin boy stand, "Don't you even think about telling Rin." Sousuke pushes Haru away.

Haru fell and cried on the floor. He whispered sorry to the baby hoping the baby will still be okay. At first he might have wanted to get rid of the kid but he didn't want to anymore. He loved that baby. It was the thing Makoto had left Haruka before he left.

Rin came back shortly after. Haru had moved himself to the couch so Rin wouldn't ask why he was on the floor. Haru acted like if nothing happened but he was still hurting, badly.

Rin ate beside Haru on the couch and Sousuke watched the two from the table. Sousuke glared at Haru and Haru felt uncomfortable. Haru knew Sousuke was glaring so he moved away from Rin making Rin worry a little.

"Are you okay Haru?" Rin asked looking at Haru with a worried expression.

"I-I'm fine," Haru doesn't look at the red head and just pokes his food.

"You should eat, you will get both of you sick," Rin says leaning down trying to make eye contact with the raven haired boy.

Haru lowers his head more so his hair covers his eyes, "I-I'm just not so hungry Rin."

"Why are you stuttering? Are you alright? Is something wrong?" Rin gets closer to Haru.

Haru stops Rin from scooting any closer, "S-Stop, p-please."

"H-Haru, what's wrong? Are you a-afraid of m-me?" Rin asked scared that his best friend would be afraid of him.

"I just want to be left alone!" Haru yells before getting up and going to his room closing the door, locking it.

"H-Haru..." Rin looks at the door with worry before looking at Sousuke.

Sousuke shrugs and continues to eat, "Just leave him alone."

"I'm worried," Rin sighs.

"Don't worry so much, just leave him alone and let him be," Sousuke says a little anger in his voice.

Rin just nods before staring down at his food. He felt like he wasn't helping his friend. He just wanted to help, and he let him earlier but why not now? Why is he acting weird? Why does he look like he's in pain? Does Haru blame Rin for Makoto's death?
