A Strange Dream!

I could pass out with how much running I was doing, I'm so weak and tired but, I just couldn't stop, not like this. "Y/n!" Two familiar voices call my name, I turn to my left to see my friend, F/n and S/n also running, but from something that looks like a bunny? It's so dark I can't see anything but its silhouette.

I look over my shoulder to see the man dressed in purple following me still, it's like we're both running in one spot, but it looks like he gets closer every time I look back. "You can't, You can't!" What does he mean by 'I can't'? I can't what? This dream is nothing but a nightmare. It is suddenly like a maze, it was like I was the player in this crazy maze game, and I'm awful at mazes.

"I'm going to die." I think to myself, even though this is a dream, it feels like my life is actually in danger. I'm so lost, I don't know where I'm going. "Turn left." My mind goes blank, what was that soft voice? I look behind me and the man could just reach out his arm and grab me, it's game over for me if I turn to look at him again. "Please, turn left." Is a GPS talking to me? Telling me where to go? I quickly turn left, obeying the voice, I had no other choice either way.

The voice told me directions and I followed, I wasn't even sure if the purple man was still following me, I couldn't see his face but, I know it was a man. The voice didn't say anything, I felt alone again, running for my life, I soon then saw a door. "Quickly!" The voice pipes up. "Open the door and lock it behind you!" I clearly saw light shining through the cracks of the door, I took all the leftover energy I had to run faster, of course in dreams, it's hard to run. I reach for the doorknob, open it and shut it with a loud bang, locking it. There was a loud banging after I locked it, I back away, scared. It stopped after a while. "Finally, I'm safe," I said to myself shivering. I hug myself, it is so cold in here.

I look around the poorly lit room. "Did someone turn the AC up, why is it so cold?" I question myself as if I knew the answer. I look in front of me, there was a present, it was music I didn't recognize. I start to walk closer towards the big box. The music starts to get slower, I stop in my tracks, quite worried something was going to pop out, of course, something was going to. When I was in front of the box, the music changed to 'Pop Goes The Weasel'. I brace myself, waiting for the surprise. The music stop and nothing pop out. I look back at the present, I inch my head forward to look inside. A puppet came out, scaring me greatly making me fall backward. It was suddenly dark, nothing but my breathing was heard.

"You care about us, right?" A high-pitched female's voice said. I look around, frighten. "Who's there? Show yourself!" I tried to be confident but, I failed. This is a dream or nightmare but, it feels too real. "Don't be afraid of us Y/n, we would never do anything to hurt you girls." Another mysterious voice spoke but, it was a male's this time, sounds like a chill dude, if I'm being honest. "I-I don't understand, what's going on?"

"It might be confusing now lass but, we'll help you." Another male's voice said but it's raspy. "Pirate's voice?" I said to no one in particular, I mean, of course, it was only me here, I think. "We will care for each other and help each other grow with time." A calm male's voice said. "And I would be there to call you mine." A charming male's voice said. I blush, why did my brain program that into my dream, I know I feel single but, gosh, that's depressing. A light flickers on, slightly hurting my eyes. "Who are you?" I look at the six figures in front of me. I look at their height to try and determine to know their ages but, I found it quite difficult because you can't know someone's age by their height, I could tell the way they are shaped. Five boys and a girl, probably around my age.

The one that was in front of the group walks past me to go by the door that I locked earlier, was he going to unlock it? I turn back to the five shadows that were maybe watching me quietly but, they were gone. I slowly got up from the cold, hard ground. "Where are the other five that were here?" I look back at the door, the shadow was also gone. The locked door slowly opened with a loud, sharp creak. My breathing hitch. Something grabs me, preventing me from moving, the whole room was soon ablaze. I scream loudly as I look around me, I tearfully look at the thing holding me, it was an old, green, moldy bunny suit, it was dripping blood. Sickness washes over me, I wanted to throw up. Its glowing white eyes pierce into my e/c eyes.

"Was this the bunny that was chasing S/n and F/n earlier?" I thought to myself, I started to get worried. Did he do something to them? I tried pulling away from it as the fire got closer to us but, it was too strong for me. "Die in a fire, die in a fire!"

I look up to see the five shadows chanting, I wonder where the sixth one went. "Help-" Why was I calling for help? These shadows could be against me. They started to walk closer to us. The old bunny's hold on me tightens. My body started to shake and it felt like strings wrapped around my wrist and ankles.

"Let go of me, you killer!" My voice came out abnormal as if it wasn't mine. I was able to get my arms loose and hit it in the gut causing it to groan and release me. I ran past the shadows and avoid the fire like a boss.

Once I left the room, I heard a man screaming in agony then the whole was filled with fire. The control I felt left me, and I was once again confused about what to do. I run, making random turns not sure where I was going. My mind went back to my friend and sister. "Where are they?" I hope that bunny didn't do anything bad. I turn the corner and saw a door ahead, smiling widely, I quicken my speed and open it. The door leads to a random apartment, I look around, the way the apartment is decorated, it's like I decorated it. I notice a picture on the wall, my eyes widen. "That looks like us!" I run to the wall to get a better look. "But grown-up?" I don't understand this dream at all, or is this a nightmare, I don't even know. "How can this be possible?" I zone out until something touches my shoulder, I prepare to hit the thing. "Y/n, is that you?" I quickly turn around to see F/n and S/n. "Thank God you both are okay!" I hug them and a voice said something from behind them. "Oh great, the gang's all here!" We turn around and I unconsciously gasp, it was the puppet from earlier. "It's you, I saw you in that box before you scared me!" I point at it, the puppet nods its head. "Yes, that was me."

"Y/n...How do you know-" "No I don't, I saw it before I came in here." I interrupt S/n. "Oh, forgive me for my poor manners, you can address me as the Marionette, or just the 'puppet' if you want, I don't care for which, the others call me either." I pause before saying something. "O-Others, what do you mean by 'others'?" F/n took the question right out of my mouth. "Yea, are there others here?" The puppet shakes its head. "No, but, you'll meet them really soon!"

"Um, can you explain all of this?" I grab the picture frame and show the puppet. F/n and S/n came to get a good look at it as well. "Oh, well obviously this is the future and clearly that is the future you in that picture." S/n and F/n squeal in excitement. "Oh my, my, my! Look at us!" S/n starts. "We all look so beautiful!" I sigh. "Oh come on, I know I don't look different at all, beautiful doesn't describe my face," I whisper the last part of my sentence, I clearly don't have a lot of confidence alright... "But you are beautiful!" "I don't think so personally.." The puppet sighs. "Well when your confidence is low, it can be hard to convince yourself that you are very pleasing to the eye but something like that takes time and I understand." I look away from the puppet and look at the dining table. "What are those badges?" I walk closer to them, these were animal badges. A brown bear, purple bunny, yellow chicken, red fox, and another bear except in a brown color it was golden. S/n walks closer to them. "Do we have some animals badges collection in the future? Why do we even need these." Puppet chuckles. "I really can't explain these right now but, you'll see in the near future, you just got to pay attention to small details."

"Ughhh, I'm tired of hearing that, I have no patience to find out by myself!" F/n whines in frustration. "T-That bunny! What's up with that moldy bunny-" "Shhhhh, don't ask questions it won't tell the answers to!" F/n interrupts S/n's question. "Exactly, I can't spoil anything until the time comes." "But I need to know this one information right now, if you know the future, can you tell us where are we working?" F/n groans at me. "Actually, that I can answer!" The puppet says happily. "Really? Please tell us where!" S/n begs eagerly. "You will be working at BEEP-"

"What?"

"BEEP-" I look around at S/n and F/n, they were gone. "Oh, you must be waking BEEP-" Everything around me started to get blurry. "Until we meet next time!" Puppet waves as it starts to disappear. "Hey! Wait a second-"

I wake up slightly to turn off my alarm clock, even though my vision is blurry, I am able to see it's 6 am. What in the world? I don't remember setting my alarm clock at all, confused, I sigh. "I need to stop playing intense video games before bed, they mess with my dreams..." I turn around and went back to sleep. 

This is trash!!!!but i want to keep writing! Oh and you meet the puppet in your dream! That's nice!
