Chapter Two

Brooklyn's POV

Maddie and I have been bestfriends since the 4th and 5th grade. We have done almost everything together. We have gone to the same school ever since then. We live in Shreveport, Louisiana. There is not much to do in this part of Louisiana sadly.

It was the summer right before the 9th and 10th grade year. School has just let out. So Maddie and I planned on spending the whole summer together again.

One day, we decided to go to the mall. Once we got there we noticed there was a bunch of girls surrounding 5 guys. We didn't know who these guys were, so we just kept moving on. We haven't been that much in to social media but that is all about to change.

*THE NEXT DAY*

Maddie's POV

Brooklyn and I live 5 blocks away from each other. We normally sleep over at each other's house. Brooklyn has some of her clothes at my house and I have some of my clothes at hers.

Brooklyn slept over last night. Tomorrow, our families are leaving for Texas. Brooklyn's stuff is packed and ready to go. We have a 7 hour flight to San Antonio.

Today we are going to the water park. I normally wake up early and Brooklyn normally sleeps late. I woke Brooklyn up extra early because it takes her so long to get ready even though we are going to the water park. After 1 hour of getting ready we were on our way to the water park.

*AT THE WATER PARK*

Brooklyn's POV

We finally get to the water park. We drove 1 hour to get here. Maddie and I have matching bathing suits. Once we step out of the car, we were arguing about which slides to go on first. We finally decide to go on the biggest one there. As we wait in line, we notice these boys in front of us. We started getting dirty looks from all the girls around us but we didn't know why. The boys turn around and start having a conversation with us.

*CONVERSATION*

"Hi, I'm Hayes" says the shorter one with gorgeous blue eyes.

The taller one with also gorgeous blue eyes says "Hi, I'm Nash. What are your names?"

"I'm Brooklyn and this is my bestfriend Maddie" I said while pointing to Maddie.

"Why are all of these girls staring at you?" says Maddie.

"Well, my brother and I are basically vine famous." says Nash.

"What's vine?" I say.

"Basically a 6 second video." Hayes says.

"Oh, that's cool! Well, we better get going if we want to finish all the rides in this park today. Bye! It was nice talking with y'all!" Maddie ends up saying. Both Hayes and Nash smile and tell us bye.

*END OF CONVERSATION*

We are finally done with riding all the slides. It's time to go home and get some rest. Tomorrow we go on an 7 hour flight to San Antiono. Maddie and I are so excited for this trip. I end up spending the night at Maddie's house once again. We have to be up and ready at 6 A.M. and be at the airport for 7 A.M.
