Chapter 6

Maddie's P.O.V.

*THE NEXT DAY*

I was woken up to light snoring by Brooklyn. I groaned to myself but then grew a devilish smile. I started to think of another plan to wake her up. The first part of my plan was to wake her up by banging pots around the room. The second part was to make her breakfast, but put a lot of different spices and other stuff in it.

Once I assured myself this plan was at least decent, I started to put it into action. I walked out of our room quietly, and started to head for the kitchen. When I finally made it to the kitchen, i cautiously took at 2 pans and closed up the cabinets. After that, I started to make my way back to our room. Once in the room, I closed the door quietly and made my way over to Brooklyn's bed. I thought of how peaceful she looked sleeping. Oh well. I started banging the pots as loud as possible it even hurt my own ears. After the first couple of seconds, Brooklyn sat straight up in her bed and then looked over at me.

"WHAT THE HECK MADDIE?! WHAT THE HECK?!" she yelled at me while giving me a very deadly glare. If looks could kill, I would definitely be dead by now.

After all that commotion, Brooklyn finally got dressed and then we went downstairs to get breakfast. When we were finally done with breakfast, we went to the riverwalk.

In order to get to the riverwalk, we had to take a boat across the river. We got our tickets and went to the end of this humongous line. The wait to get on the boat was about an hour. When we arrived at the riverwalk, it was a jaw dropping sight. There was nothing like this in Louisiana. We took a tour all around the river walk. They had small shops, a huge mall, and restaurants all around us.

When the tour was over, it was about 5 o'clock. We both decided we wanted to eat somewhere's on the riverwalk. We ended up eating at this semi-fancy restaurant. The food there was amazing. When we were done eating, we decided to head back across the river and to the hotel. The wait to get back on the boat this time wasn't as bad as it was last time. This time it was about a 10 minute wait. The ride back was very peaceful. I wish there was something like this back in Louisiana.

Once we got back to the hotel, Brooklyn suggested we should do our weekly YouTube video. I know what you're thinking, Brooklyn and I have a YouTube channel?! The answer is yes. We have a collab channel. Some of our videos are challenges, prank calls, and blindfolding stuff. For the video we're making right now is the "What's in my mouth" challenge. Brooklyn and I both agreed that we think this video will be the best one so far. After we finished filming the video, it was time for editing. Editing this particular video took forever. Once we finished editing, we updated the final masterpiece. An hour after updating it we got some views. Not many views though. Maybe like 1,000 but that's all. After every video, we try our best to get our name out there even though it's only been about a month. After filming, editing, and everything else, we were exhausted. We did our nightly routine and fell asleep instantly.
