Chapter Three

Maddie's POV

*NEXT MORNING*

My alarm went off at 5 A.M. signaling it is time to get up. I get up and go to the bathroom. Once I'm done doing what I need to do I get dressed in one of my softball shirts and some black sweatpants. By the time I am finished it was 5:15. I look over and see Brooklyn is still sleeping. I think of a quick plan to get her out of bed. My plan is to get my headphones, put them in Brooklyn's ears, and play my favorite song "She Looks So Perfect" by 5 Seconds of Summer.

My plan was a success. She screamed "WHAT THE HECK!?" I started busting out laughing while she just gave me a death glare.

By the time Brooklyn was ready to go it was 5:50. Luckily we both packed the night before. On the car ride to the airport, Brooklyn fell asleep again but this time with her headphones in. I did the same thing I did to get her up this morning. Once we found her parents and got through security it was 7:30. Our flight didn't leave till 8 so Brooklyn and I went to the Starbucks they had in the airport.

As we were waiting in line, all of these girls started to scream as loud as possible. We look around until we spot a huge mob of girls running for this really cute guy. Luckily, since all the girls started running towards him, we were next in line.

Once we got our drinks we headed for the gate to meet our parents. We got on the plane and our parents sat in front of us. Brooklyn got the window seat and I got the middle. There was still one seat left in our row. The really cute guy we saw from earlier takes the seat next to me. I started blushing so I look out the window and talk to Brooklyn. Brooklyn wasn't as interested in him as she was interested in one of the ones we met at the water park. Brooklyn fell asleep once again. When is this girl never asleep I think to myself. Since she fell asleep, I was stuck watching the boring tv. I got tired of watching tv and started playing on my phone.

All of a sudden, the really cute guy started talking to me. "Hi, my name is Matthew but you can call me Matt" he says.

I introduced myself afterwards. We learned things about each other, for example he told me he just turned 17. After learning about each other, we started talking about what we are doing this summer. I told him I planned on hang out with this lazy chick who is asleep. He told me he planned on traveling. We just talked about random things and soon enough I realized that the plane is about to land. I decided to wake Brooklyn up nicely this time. After waking her up, Matt and I exchanged numbers. Even though we talked for 3 hours straight, I still don't really know Matt.

Once we land we go to the hotel were staying at. It was the most beautiful hotel I've ever seen. When we go inside there were lots of girls. Our families literally pushed our way through the girls to get to the front desk. Once we got to the front desk, we get our room numbers and head up to our rooms.
