We were sitting on a booth at Pop's. We ordered some french fries and milkshakes and just ate for a bit before I could even look him in the eyes.

- So... - Jughead started talking. I looked up at him and noticed how sad he looked.
- I'm not really looking for a thing with anyone right now and I don't want you to think I want something more... - I lied, covering up my real intentions.
- Betty, I know you know.
- What?
- I know you know about my dad.
- How do you...
- I noticed you got out of bed and went investigating the trailer.
- Oh...
- And I don't think you should break up with me just because my dad used to sell drugs.
- What?! That's it? - I laughed.
- What's "it"?
- I thought your dad and my mom had an affair! - I laughed even harder.
- How did you get that idea?! - Jughead laughed, however not as excited as me.
- I guess I just jumped to conclusions...

We laughed and chatted some more until it was late. Pop's never closed, since it was a 24 hour "Chock'lit Shoppe", so one really gets lost on the track of time.

It was 11:28pm when my mom called me.

- Elizabeth Cooper! Where are you so late?
- I'm at Pop's with Jughead Jones, mom.
- Get back home, immediately.

- I have to go... - I said to him, getting up.
- Well, I better say goodbye. - I felt his hand touch my hip and then his arm wrap around my torso. His eyes locked on mine and his lips reached mine, giving me a kiss I wouldn't forget in hours. Every move his lips made against mine was ground breaking. - Goodbye, then. - he said, backing away from me.
- Goodnight, Jug.

I was in my bedroom and I investigated more about drug dealing in Riverdale. On the internet, all I could find was the business of jingle jangle and some of the prisoners that were related to that. So I decided to check the Register's archive.

In June of 1989, when my parents were 17, there was a big mystery in Riverdale. There was a body found in the High School. It said it was the last day of Senior Year for the class of 88/89 and the students all had a pool party on the school's swimming pool. There was booze and drugs and the autopsy showed that the senior who died had an overdose of jingle jangle.
The police said the death had been accidental and the blame was on the student who died but there were many rumors that he was forced to ingest dangerous amounts of jingle jangle, since there were agression and rope marks all over his body.

My mom and FP were in this class.
Oh no...
