My eyes fluttered open. I stayed quiet and thought about my dream, did I really meet my mother?
Yes, I did. She told me that she missed me and Dad.... Dad!
I sat up quickly, but instantly regretted it. Every muscle in my body screaming in pain.
"Careful! You'll hurt yourself again!" said a girl sitting next to my bed.
"Lay back down!" she said in a demanding voice.
I obeyed instantly.
"Here, drink this." she said, holding a glass of what looked like apple juice.
I felt the need to drink it and slowly nodded.
She propped the straw in my mouth, and I drank.
It tasted amazing, like -if it were possible- liquid chocolate chip cookies. Homemade, like the kind that I would always make for Dad.
I drank the whole cup, and felt a million times better. The girl just smiled and set the cup on the table that was by the bed.
"Who are you?" I finally asked.
She smiled.
"My name is Piper. Piper McLean. You look really familiar, have we met before?"
McLean. Must be a relative to Tristan McLean. Dad's done a few movies with him.
"Maybe we have met."
Her choppy haircut wouldn't be so easily forgotten. It was as if she tried her hardest to not look beautiful, but was failing terribly. She was beautiful.
"So, what's your name?""Diana."
"That's a pretty name."
"Thanks, my mom picked it."
"Do you know where you are?"
"Hopefully, at Camp Half-blood."
Her eyes widened a little.
"That's exactly where you are! Are you a demigod?"
"Yeah."
"I figured that much. Is it your mom or your dad?"
"Mom."
"Hmm.... We'll ask Chiron later."
She handed me a stack of clothes and pointed towards the bathroom.
"There's a shower in there, and after you take a shower, I'll give you a tour of Camp Half-blood."
"Okay."
I hopped out of the bed, and ran into the bathroom.
Five minutes later, I came out wearing dark blue skinny jeans, a sky blue tank top, a jean jacket, and black boots. My wet hair looking like it's black instead of brown. I felt a billion times better.
Piper smiled.
"Alright, let's go."
I smiled. I felt like I could get along with Piper very easy. We opened the doors, and I saw what Camp Half-blood looked like for the first time.
