"Daniel, hey wake up buddy" A soft voice made Daniel shift in his seat. Groaning softly and blinking a bunch of times, trying to get adjusted to the bright light.

"Hey" Angie said softly. Daniel pouted and stretched his arms, a sigh leaving his lips. "You slept a lot, did you sleep last night?"

"no, maybe at least three hours. I have no idea" He shook his head and sat up straight. He looked around for a watch, "what time is it?"

"It's six in the afternoon" She chuckled while Daniel almost lost his shit.

"So you're telling me that I slept for around five to seven hours and you didn't wake me up once? I could've been dead! Some friend you are" he grimaced and eyed Angie in disgust.

"Don't be such a drama queen you ass, we tried to wake you up multiple times to check if you were 'alive' but you just shook us off"

Daniel smiled in an apologizing yet funny manner. The lad stood up and walked towards the counter, he went to grab his phone to check if his girlfriend had left him any messages but then he remembered that she blocked him. He frowned, feeling the emptiness in his stomach. He left the phone there and sat on the counter.

"Where are the guys?"

"Corbyn went to a friend's house with Christina and Zach is upstairs playing fortnite or whatever" Angie clarified. She then took a deep breath and looked down, she glanced at Daniel with a worrying expression "Danny,"

"yeah?"

"what happened between you and Adeline exactly? I never caught up" She walked towards the broken boy. Sitting on the stool chair next to him even though he was on top of the counter.

He was beyond tired of talking about this. But she was his best friend and she has to know what happened. So he explained everything, slowly and with every detail. He accepted the things he made wrong, unlike other people would...(a/n *cough cough* *sips tea*)

She could feel the pain that Daniel was going through. Yet she understands what type of pain the other person across the screen was feeling.

Sometimes you have to put yourself in the other person's shoes. Think about how would they feel when you said that to them or what you did to them. And that's what's fucked up about society. You don't know what the person across the screen is going through. You don't know what the person right in front of you is going through right now. Yes you can see them smiling... but is it really a smile? A broken one? A fake one or a real one?And having them wrapped around your finger is the worst thing that you could do. Treat people how you want to be treated and accept the bullshit that you did and don't make yourself the victim once they snap at you.

"I'm such a fucking douchebag Angie. I should've known. Why did I put her through that? She's got parents that basically hate her, she's got a baby brother or sister on the way. She got in a fist fight with some hoe at her best friend's driveway and then her internet boyfriend leaves her hanging after telling her that he's going on a plane to who knows where without telling her. I'm such a fucking idiot" He rambled, starting to shake with anger and punched the counter not once, but twice.

"Daniel, relax. Take a deep breath, come on"

"I'm not like this. What the fuck is happening to me? She probably thinks I'm a fake person now. I-I don't want people to think of that about me" His voice quivered with anger. His light blue eyes turning a dark ocean one as he stood up, walking around.

"Dan-"

"Someone fucking shoot me. I can't let her live like this."
