Chapter 7

Tessa and I got to the mall.
"Where to?" Tessa said
"PACSUN‼️‼️" I said jumping up and down like a basic white girl.
"Woahhhh clam down girl" Tessa said laughing.
We got into pacsun, right as we got in I found the most beautiful swim suit and I knew it was the one. It was a maroon colour and it had the lace thing going town the front of the top and the sides of the bottoms. I showed it to Tessa.
"What do ya think?"
"Sexyyyyy try it onnn!"
I went to the fitting rooms and right as I put it on I fel in love I was just so excited for today I didn't even show her because I knew she would love it. So I got out of the fitting rooms.
"Whattt you didn't even show me!"
"See now I was going to but I'm so excited and in a hurry I wanna gooooo!!" I said rushing to the cashier.
"Understandable" she said laughing
Once I paid for the swim suit we quickly got out of the store. I glanced over and saw Jake and I am at the jeweler but I didn't think anything of it I just wanted to go get ready. As we got in the car I got a call from my dad.
"Hey pops what's up?"
"Hey honey I wanna let you know we will be having a funeral tomorrow at 1pm and obviously you need to be there." All of a sudden my mood went from a 10 to a 1 because I was trying not to think about everything that had happened.
"Of course I will be there" I said holding back the tears.
"You can bring that boy too"
"Really?!?" I said shocked
"Yes he seems to make you really happy and I know you will need a lot of comfort."
"Thank you dad I love you "
"Love you too honey have a great rest of your day"
We hung up and I began to cry.
"What's wrong?" Tessa said looking over giving me a big hug.
"Nothing it's just we are having a funeral tomorrow and I'm not ready I'm having an emotional roller coaster, I am happy because of Ivan and anytime I'm with him I forget all of the sadness I have but then once someone brings it up I just can't hold it back."
"That's understandable but I promise you it will be ok just think of the good things and the amount of fun you will have tonight, your mother would be happy to see you happy again"
"You're right thank you Tessa"
"Of course now what do you say we go home and get ya all ready"
"YESSSS" I said wiping the tears away.
As we got home I saw that no one was there but it was perfect because then I could just get ready with Tessa. We got in and then I panicked because I had 3 hours and I didn't know what to wear or what makeup or... ANYTHING!!!
We went upstairs.
"Ok Tessa so I'm going to take a shower and I am counting on you to pick out a cute outfit that is fancy but not too fancy."
"Girl I already got you covered"
I hoped in the shower and rushed because I wasn't trying to take 10 years and not have enough time to blow dry my hair makeup etc.
as I got done with my shower i opened the door and I saw this bomb outfit with a letter. The letter said...
"Hey I'm sorry but I had to go it was an emergency so I was told but I hope you like your outfit!!"
Then I thought to myself I'm all alone I can't do this by myself but then I also realized the hard part of picking out an outfit is over with so I got this.
She picked out this cute maroon tight dress with black heels. It was perfect. At this point I only had 1 hour left after showering, blow drying my hair, and curling it. So I quickly put the dress on and began doing my makeup.
Then I heard the front door open and I looked down and it was Jake and Ivan they looked like they were having a good time so I didn't interrupt I just went back to my makeup. I daisy did some mascara and eyebrows because I don't like the whole "fake" look. That took me a good 45 minutes just because I had to make my eyebrows PERFECT. God I hate myself sometimes.
"Hey" Jake said coming into my room
"Heyyyy"
"You look really nice you almost ready?"
"Yep just gotta put my shoes on."
"Well Ivan is downstairs whenever your ready"
"HOW DO GUYS GET READY SO FASTTTT"
"We'll see we don't have to do makeup and extravagant things with our hair" he said laughing patting me on the head.
"Oh stop it let's go"
We walked downstairs and I saw Ivan he looked so handsome. He looked over at me in aw.
"Wow you look beautiful"
"Aw thanks and you look very handsome"
"You ready to go?"
"Yes!!"
"Alright you two no horseplay if ya know what I mean." Jake said winking
"Shut up Jake." I said laughing punching him.
Me and Ivan walked out the door and got In the car.
"So can I know where we are going yettt??"
"Nope but I know you will love it"
"Awww"
We started driving and we shortly arrived. It was the beach!! I looked at the sky in aw it was so beautiful. Just in time for the sunset. We got out and he got a little picnic set out of the trunk.
"Right this way" he said leading me.
He set out the little blanket and basket and we sat down looking at the sky he put his arm around me and we sat there for a while just watching it.
"Hey I have something for you." He said looking at me. He began pulling a little box out of his pocket. And opened it. I couldn't believe what I saw!
