-(Y/n)'s POV-
It was a normal Saturday morning, I walked to the lake where Shu, Edgar, and I met
‘It's really peaceful here...I miss this place...’ I thought
I sat down and started at my reflection in the lake, until a familiar voice called me
“Melons”
“Kuso...” I hissed “What do you want, Ayato?”
“I just want to ask a few questions” He replied
“Make it quick, I don't have all day”
“How'd you get adopted into Chichinashi's family? You two look nothing alike”
“Well...”
-Flashback-
“Mom, where are we going?” The little Nine-Tail questioned her mother
“Somewhere, sweetie” She replied
“Who's chasing us?”
“Just some bad people”
The girl and her mother arrived in front of a church. The girl sat down in front of the door
“Remember what I told you?” The girl's mother questioned
“Us Nine-Tail's are a family, we must always defend each other no matter what the cost. If anything's happens to our family, we must avenge them” She replied
“Good girl. How about your powers?”
“Nine-Tail's can make illusions, teleport, control time, shapeshift, use thunder strikes, and summon voids” (A/n: These are just special powers I wanna add for the reader)
“Very good. Now hide your ears as tails”
The little girl did as told. The mother then kissed the girl's forehead
“I'm doing this for your own good” She knocked on the door “I'll always remember you, do the same for me”
“Mom...?” The little girl started tearing up “Don't leave me”
“Goodbye sweetie” Those were all her words before running away and getting chased
Suddenly, the church door opened, and a gentle voice spoke
“Oh my...where are your parents, little girl?”
“Gone” She replied
“Come in, you'll be treated like a family here. What's your name?”
“(Y/n)”
-End of flashback-
“She sacrificed herself to save the last of us” I muttered “Mom...”
A pair of arms wrap around me “I'm sorry to hear that”
“It's fine” I remove Ayato's arms from me “And could you not hug me? I don't like hugs”
“Sorry. Anyways, what's the name of your mother?”
“Ahri”
A/n: Sorry if it's so short! But at least you know your mother's name. And sorry if it's from League of Legends, I couldn't think of any other Nine-Tail. Anyways, after this is chapter 3, just wait for it. Arigato soshite sayonara minasan!
