Chapter 18

~Nina's POV~

So the first week was over and finally it was Friday so today we were just taking notes in class. Erik is still giving me the silent treatment & Lexi was in my class thankfully because Me & Skyler only had one class together I cant actually talk to Lexi in more then 1 class.

"Hey" Lexi said coming in to Algebra II class. "Wassup" I responded looking up from my phone it was her and Mackenzie together. The professor wasn't here yet so Elizabeth sneaky ass snuck into the room "Why are you in this class and not in your own" I asked Elizabeth "Chill I'm going to class no- Hey Kylie" she said. "Ok so everybody just going to sneak into our class today" I said laughing. "You coming to the club with us tonight Nina" Lexi asked. "I guess I'm not driving" I said.

"Elizabeth Rains & Kylie Lester this is not your class" our professor said making them jump. Me, Lexi, & Mackenzie silently laughed. "Sorry Mr.Roberson" they said in unison quickly getting up & leaving. He then began his boring ass class talking & talking & talking.

My phone vibrated it and since I was in the far back I was hoping he didnt see me answer it. "Ms.Rains no cellphones in class" He said. "Sorry" I said closing my phone and heard Lexi laughing which made me face towards her before grabbing my pen & continuing to write.

Soon after class was dismissed. Me & Lexi left out the class and we was waiting in the hallway for a few minutes when one of Erik friends Kyle walked towards us along with Erik & the rest of them. I was not in the mood at the time and WHAT BLACK PARENTS NAME THEIR KID KYLE what is wrong with colonizers. "Wassup with you two" he said smiling showing his pearly whites. At least we know he brushes his teeth I thought. "Do I know you?" Lexi asked. "Nah but I'm tryna know you" he said to her.

Lexi looked me and all I did was look the other way trying not to laugh. "Wassup Nina" he said trying to get my attention. I went in my purse and grabbed my phone to text "Wassup Kyle" I said still having my eyes on my phone.

E: Wya?

N: In Hely Hall

E: Me, Sky, & Kylie on our way over there

N: Ok

I closed my phone and they were still here as I looked up I seen Erik looking at me. I felt confused on why he was just looking at me. "Nina can we leave?" Lexi asked. "Yea" I responded because I think I was more ready to leave rather then her. As we tried to leave Kyle grabbed my wrist "Damn Nina you didn't even tell me your friend name or you didn't give me your number" he said. I jerked out of his grip and scoffed. I walked away knowing he was looking at my ass "Stop looking Kyle" I said.

We met Skyler, Kylie & Elizabeth at the door and went to the café. "Girl I know these niggas aint follow us" Lexi said pointing towards the café door. "If they are I really don't wanna know" I said turning back around. I noticed that a girl walked up to Erik but he ignored her but the other day he was just talking to a girl had her ass laughing and all.

We went to find a table and ate. "Lexi what time is it so we can make it to class its a long ass walk from here to Hely Hall" I asked. She looked at her phone "Oh shit we gotta go class start at 2:00 and its 1:50 and hely hall far as shit" she said stuffing her face with one more fry. "Bye yall" I told Skyler and them as I grabbed my purse and we walked out.

4:00pm

All of my classes was finally over so I just went to my apart and chilled out for a minute until my phone went off

E:We meeting at Kylie apartment at 9:00

N:Ok

I knew it was 4 so I had 5 hours aint it will only take 2 1/2 to get ready so I took a nap>
