After school Sarephina and Will went home and Sarephina went straight to her room and started getting ready. When she was done it was 7:30 P.M. she walked downstairs to see Gwen in the kitchen with Josie.
"Sarephina, sweetie, why are you all dressed up," Josie asked.
"I'm meeting Warren at the park so he can take me out on a date," She smiled.
Will and Steve soon joined the girls in the kitchen and Steve stared at Sarephina, "Baby girl, why are you all dressed up?"
"Warrens taking her out on a date," Josie smiled.
"Where is he," Steve looked at his daughter.
"I'm meeting him at the park"
"OK, but I want you home by midnight," Steve gave her a hug and she hugged back.
"OK"
Sarephina walked out the front door and down the road. Making her way to the park. When Sarephina got to the park it was 8:00 P.M. and Warren wasn't there yet. She sat on the swings and started rocking back and forth on it slowly.
Sarephina sat on that swing for as long as she could. Until her phone went off telling her it was time for her to go home. Tears streamed from her eyes as she made her way back home, a trail of ice leaving a trail. When she opened the door Steve and Josie where up, waiting for her.
"Sweetheart, how was your date," Josie asked.
Sarephina looked up from the ground, looked at her mom and dad, tears still streaming from her eyes, and shook her head. She didn't want to talk about it. Not now, not ever.

The next day Sarephina woke up and got dressed. The house was quiet. Josie, Steve, and Will noticed that the green-eyed girl wasn't singing like she normally did in the morning. Sarephina didn't eat and her family noticed to lack of expression on her face.
Will and Sarephina walked to the bus stop and saw Layla. "Layla," Will greeted smiling, "You're not gonna believe what happened last night." Layla held out a fortune cookie, "Oh. I love these."
Sarephina Ignored them for a little bit until Sarephina was next to Ethan and Layla was talking to Will.
"Oh, Warren asked me," Layla said.
"What but Sarephina didn't Warren ask you," Will asked looking across the bus at Sarephina.
"I guess he changed his mind," Sarephina spoke for the first time that day.
Magenta got up and had Ethan move before sitting next to her giving her a hug. Layla stared at Sarephina and saw how depressed she was. Layla felt terrible for lying to them about her and Warren but she didn't say anything, she didn't want to.
