BRIEF SMUT | LOTS OF HINTS | FLUFF ————————————————————— "Where are we going?" Jimin asks curiously as Yoongi tugs him towards the horse stable.
"The coast," Yoongi smiles excitedly and Jimin perks up, his smile growing as Yoongi hands the rein of the horse to the Prince.
"You're kidding?" Jimin asks, laughing in disbelief as he pets the horse's mane.
"I talked to your father about bringing you to check on the merchant ships, he agreed and we can go off to see the coast," Yoongi smiles and Jimin shrieks with excitement, clapping his hands in front of him that frightens the horse slightly.
Jimin lets go of the horse to wrap his arms around the knight's neck, snuggling his face into the crook. "Thank you, I love you," Jimin says happily, pecking a kiss onto his neck before pulling away. He nudges his nose against Yoongi's, fluttering his eyelashes happily before they both bring two horses out. Jimin had the horse he's always had, she was pure white and when he was young he had named her "cloud" because it was the first thing he could think of. Yoongi had a pitch black horse, silky fur because the squires took good care of them.
Jimin runs to get food, water and his cloak as Yoongi sets up their saddles. Jimin returns with a sack full of fruit, bread and carrots for the horses as well as two blankets before he puts them in a basket hanging from the saddle. He puts on his gloves because the leather reins hurt his fingers and he blisters easily from it.
He climbs up onto the horse as they set out to the gate where they'd be able to ride to the coast. Jimin doesn't look at Namjoon as he opens up the gate, the other's eyes bore into him and Yoongi clears his throat. "Ready?" He asks, he knows he can't look at Namjoon or he'll lose control of all his senses and he wouldn't be able to hold back.
The gate opens and they both ride off, Jimin going on and on about the cove and coastline, how pretty it is and how they're going to get to see it together. "We'll be free there," Jimin smiles softly, the only other sound is the horses' hooves clicking against the stone path.
"We really do need to check in with the merchants though, I told your father we may be there all day and night and we could be back by tomorrows e'em." Jimin smiles softly at that, nodding because they'll get to spend hours there, alone and free.
They ride all the way to the outskirts of the kingdom, stopping now and then to drink water and have a snack, they'd stop to admire the nature of the landscape, or stop off at ponds and rivers so the Horses could drink, feed them carrots and then they were off again.
It's when Jimin sees the outline of blue ahead of them, along with ships that look small that gradually grow with each step is when he gets overcome with excitement. "Yoongi look!" He shouts and before the knight can blink the boy is tugging on the horse's reins, hitting the sides of the horse slightly and shouting as the horse takes off in a gallop.
