Jimin shouts out what resembles a battle cry, clashing his sword against the wooden dummy. He's been practicing, training, his bruises from Jeongguk fading and new, light ones appeared from how hard he was training. Taehyung and Hoseok are watching from the benches, eyes wide with curiosity and amazement at how technical and strong the Prince is, how he is getting.
It'd been days, possibly weeks since Yoongi left for battle and this is the only way Jimin can get his mind off of it, working himself till he's exhausted, passing out in his bed before Jeongguk can even try anything. He dodged the Duke, he had no reason to be around him unless it was for matters that needed them to be together. The Duke tried, but Jimin would hide out in the training room, practicing until he passed out.
"Prince, please take a break," Taehyung calls out, eyes swimming with worry because the Prince is overworking himself. He knows its to protect himself and get his mind off of missing Yoongi. "Yoongi wouldn't want you to overwork yourself not be tired out, hm?" Taehyung tries to influence him, lure him in but Jimin freezes, clattering the sword to the floor, running a hand through his hair as he walks over to the two.
"It's been weeks, I haven't heard any word from him, from anyone, the messengers haven't told me anything, what if he dies, died," Jimin croaks out, eyes shaking as he stares at the two and Hoseok sighs, glancing at Taehyung and then the Prince, patting the bench space between them.
"Tell me why you love him," Hoseok quips, eyes sparkling because he figures if he gets Jimin to talk, tell them why, it'll get his mind off training so hard to forget his knight and the worry he has for his safety, and instead help him reflect on how much he loves him and think about the good things, not about the battle.
