~Six Months Later~

~Hiccups POV~

"Once upon a time there was a Viking princess named Elle, one day she saw a dragon with a broken wing, she went to over to the dragon and helped her out, she became best friends with the dragon and named her Twilight. Everyday she would help feed, train and look after the dragon. She flew Twilight around the kingdom and everybody loved dragons and got there own pet dragon, the end" I read to Ellie. Elle and Twilight was a book I had wrote for Ellie and it was her favourite book. I heard a knock on the door when I went to open it I saw my beautiful wife Astrid.

"You know Mi'Lady you could've just opened the door you don't need to knock" I say to Astrid

"HICCUP LOOK TURN AROUND!" Shouts Astrid

When I turned around I saw Ellie crawling, CRAWLING the first milestone in her life.

"Looks like she's going to be crawling around the house soon" says Astrid excitedly

"I know, which is going to make it so hard for me to leave" I say

"Wait? Leave?" Asked Astrid

"Well... After I killed Merida I got a letter from The king and queen of DunBroch Elinor and Fergus asking why Merida died. After I sent them the letter about what happened they didn't believe me they requested that I saw them In person and tell them" I say to Astrid

"B...but who's going to help me with Ellie?" Asks Astrid

"Mum said the whenever you need her she'll give come and help" I say

"That's good, how long will you be gone for?" I ask

"It'll take me four weeks to get there and four weeks to get back so 4+4=8, 8 weeks which is a month and a bit" I say

"Oh" I say

"I'm going to miss you so much Mi'Lady" I say to Astrid

"I'll miss you to" I say back

Ellie had somehow managed to crawl towards us, she gave me a tap on my foot

"Oh and I'm going to miss you to" I say to Ellie and pick her up
