"Victor, please let me talk to you", Thomas knocked on his door again. After two repeating days he had not left his room, the strong boy only let his sister inside. Returning to silence again, she dragged her feet away and into Enoch's room.

"Still no answer?", the girl slump into the dead-risers bed. "I just want to talk to him", she groaned and threw her head back into his pillow. "He just needs time that's all", Enoch removed himself from his work and laid down next to her.

"You know he will get hungry someday and come out. Victor is always eating, I am hungry too", the boy threw out some ideas while his lower lip went out into a pout before Thomas jumped off his bed. "You, my love, are a genius", she gave him a kiss on both cheeks before running too the kitchen.

"You, my love, are a genius", Enoch repeated her words love struck on the bed.

"So, you really think this is going to work", Enoch said with a mouth full with pancakes. "How could it not I've promised him for months to make waffles but, never got the chance", Thomas wiped the syrup in the corner of his mouth with a napkin. "I wish you luck, my love. And thank you for the pancakes", he kissed her before she walked out with a plate full filled with waffles.

"Oohhhh can I have some Tom pleasee", a finally a fully clothed Millard exit his room and saw the plate of food. "Millard I've got some plates filled with pancakes and waffles for you and the rest downstairs. No stealing from this one", she softly pushed him to the direction of the stairs before she heard rapid thumping.

"Victor, I just want to talk to you", she softly knocked on his door again. "Go away", his voice went through the door. "Victor I got waffles", Thomas singed. "What type?", Victor slightly opened the door a crack looking between her and the plate.

"Chocolate chip and just plain with maple syrup on the side", Victor's hand slips out of the door but she quickly moved it away. "I get to talk to you, you get these waffles of love", the hand slip away before the room opened entirely. "Okay but, these waffles must be enjoyed properly before talking", Victor let her inside.

Victor hair was messy while he was still wearing pyjamas. The corner of his eyes had a faded red but, he pulled a small smile for her. Thomas put down the plate of food and admired his room. It was filled of pictures of the other children and small memos.

"Do you need help with your hair today?", she tried removing the tension between the two while he ate his food in silence. "I think that will be well", he finished and wiped his mouth. "Thank you, I'll take a shower and be right back", he said before grabbing some clothes. "Yeah you better you stink. I'm just kidding. I am going to go wash the dishes", Victor started laughing with her.

"Thank you Thomas", "Thank you Tom", "Thank you Ms. Fincher", she got another round of thank yous as the rest of their family finished eat.
"It's no problem, you're all welcome", she hugged the smaller children as they were finishing up. She washed the dishes and Victor's before going back to his room.

"Victor, I am back", Thomas knocked on his door again. "Come in", his voice went through the wall again. Victor's hair was slightly damp while he was wearing slacks and a white shirt that were being held together with suspenders.

"Let me do your hair", she went to get his comb and pomade as he sat down. "Still better than Horace, don't let him know I said that", he said when she finished his comb over. Thomas was still close to Victor as he turned around he was basically towering her. His eyes became hazy trying to go for a kiss when she turned her head.

"Why is it Enoch and not me.", Victor's eyes soften at the ring on her finger. "He's the heartless person around here", his feelings were starting to get fueled. "Victor don't say that, Enoch is not like that. He's your best mate", Thomas was standing her ground despite the sudden change of the boy. "All I wanted for almost the past five decades were to get out of here. Grow old like a normal person. But, I met you, you have changed my whole perspective now. I love you", Victor was half yelling at her now.

"Tim you know it's not too late. We can still get out of the loop. You and I will age just a little faster til it stops. The first stop can be in London, you have always wanted to visit there right", he already had this all planned out. "Victor, I can't leave. I have been living since the last witch trial. I would turn to dust. I cannot leave Enoch. You can't leave your sister. We can't leave our home here", Thomas grabbed his hand.

"But, you are not really living if you can't breathe in this godforsaken place", Victor shook of her grasp of him and ran. "VICTOR STOP, COME BACK", Thomas started screaming whole running after him. The house was empty due for the rest taking a walk.

Victor ran through the old dirt paths around the island. It has been so long since the last time he went near the loop entrance, he went with gut to tell him where to go. "Go away Thomas, this is what I want", he stopped in front of a dead end near a cliff. "Victor please don't do this. We need you, I need you", her eyes were starting to develop tears.

Victor started struggling his arms and legs felt like they were being tied. He never had this feeling before, fear and it was overwhelming. "VICTOR, VICTOR", Thomas started screaming as he froze and started to be lifted into the sky. The only thing going through her mind. Hallow

"NONONO VICTOR. LET HIM GO", she saw the faint outline of the tall monster. "STOP LET ME GOO", Victor started struggling against the hallow trying to use his peculiarity but it was no use. Thomas was hit back by the invisible source as she saw the hallows tentacles go for his eyes. "NO", the blood curdling scream came from Victor as the hallow also went down.

"Victor, Victor please", she ran over to him. But, his body was already cold she kept her hands on his then went to his face. His eyes were missing. Victor's corpse had one last will, "I love you", then he went in peace. "Victor, Victor. Get up. You are suppose to be there for me",she silently shook him while tears were raining down her face.

"Victor", Bronwny small voice spoke up from the large group of kids who now all gathered crying at the lost. "Hey Victor", she nudged him before getting no response and started crying into her brother's shirt.

"Victor, Victor" Enoch pulled her to him as she violently sobbed into his chest. "I know", he rubbed her back silently crying with her.

Miss Peregrine had came back from her spot where she was shooting the hallow down. "Victor..", she didn't know she shot too late one of her children were gone.
