The beach was peaceful. Feeling the sand between your toes, feeling the heat radiating from the sun to your skin, and holding hands with the person you love is the best feeling in the whole world. I looked down at our intertwined hands and smiled to myself. Could it get better than this? He was looking down at me and smiling.

"You are the most beautiful girl I have ever met. I don't understand how a person can be so gorgeous," He said to me. I felt my cheeks redden and I looked at the ground.

"Thank you Johnny. You're so sweet and it means the world to me."

"You deserve the world Arianna," He said. Johnny cupped my face with his hands and leaned in. This was it. This was the moment I got to have with the person I have longed for. I started to lean in...

"ARI?!"

"Huh, what? What's going on?" I asked a freaked out Warveen.

"YOU WERE LEANING INTO ME AND YOU HAD YOUR LIPS PUCKERED!" She screamed.

"Oh my god," I said shoving my face into my pillow.

"What the heck were you dreaming about?" She asked.

"Nothing. It was silly. Don't worry about it," I said giving her a reassuring smile.

"It didn't seem like nothing, but whatever you say. We have a big day of hiking ahead of us."

"Ugh, hiking?" I groaned.

"Yes this is our last day camping and we need to make it count with the thing you hate the most. So let's get dressed and we can start this adventure," Warveen said cheerfully. Hiking was not something I was looking forward to. Anything that has to do with physical effort is not really my thing. Though I complied and started to get dressed in the tent while Warveen was checking the fire pit.

The sun became brighter with every minute, making hiking much more unpleasant. The sweat was dripping down my neck, thus making it drip down my back.

"How much longer?" I asked Warveen.

"About two miles, so if we can walk really fast we will be done in about twenty minutes," She said.

"Then lunch?"

"Yes Ari, then lunch." Warveen packed us sandwiches in a cooler so we could eat them at the top of the mountain. She wanted it to be serene so it "would help me become more connected to nature."

"We made it!" Warveen exclaimed while jumping up and down at the peak of the mountain.

"Thank god," I said wiping the sweat from my eyebrow.

"Now you can have your reward," She said while getting the sandwich out of the cooler.

I took a bite of it, "This makes the hike worth it." Warveen just rolled her eyes at me. We sat down on the ground together looking out into the world beyond us.

"I can't believe it's already been two days camping," Warveen sighed.

"Yeah, I guess it was kind of fun," I said.

"You loved it don't lie."

"I loved the memories it made," I said.

"That's true. My favorite memory was when you fell out of the lawn chair," Warveen said while laughing. I rolled my eyes at her.

"You're right. It has been fun. I just can't wait to go home though. I need to check how the new Arjon video is doing." Worrying about social media was probably one of my biggest flaws. I just can't get away from my phone.

We walked back down the mountain to our campsite and packed everything up. We happily drove back home and joined reality once more.
