How We Met, Plant Boi Edition

How we met is an interseting and odd story to tell. Allow me to set the stage...

Its the year 1918 in the middle of wisconsin. Yes you heard right, 1918, we are imortal and that is when we met. Don't think to much about it, just roll with it. So yeah, its the year 1918 and I was hanging out in the middle of the woods as per usual. So I was hanging out with the plants and the trees, as one normally does when I heard a rustiling sound in a near by bush. I left the shade of the maple tree I was under to go and examine the sound. I walked over to the bush and found a little red fox sitting in the bush. 

Now its not unusal to see a fox, I mean, I'm in the middle of the forest. When in the forest you are bound to see a little bit of wildlife. However what was unusual was the fact that this fox had three red lines on its forehead. I was confused because the lines were perfeclty straight and they didn't look like dried blood or anything so I had to assume someone put them there on purpose. The fox then got up and started running in along a creek bank. I can't exactly explain this next bit, but I got a feeling that I should follow it, just to see what this was all about. 

I have to admit that this fox was fast. I have never been a fast runner so keeping up with this four legged animal while it was running at full speed was probably a recepie for disaster. However, when you think about it, wasn't this whole thing a recepie for disaster? I mean I'm following a wild animal who more than likely trying to get away from me. I wasn't going to let that stop me though. I couldn't stop until I figured out what was going on. I felt like a magnet was pulling me towards the fox.

The fox finaly stopped at the edge of a cavern. I thought that it was going to slow down at the edge of the cavern and then walk around, but no. This fox jumped right into the freaking cavern. I walked to the edge of the cavern slowley adn glanced down. The fox was about twenty feet down with two others, all three of them glancing up at me. 

Now what I did next was very stupid and I don't advise you to try it. However I was bored and I knew that I wasn't going to die, as I'd fallen out of trees higher than that. So I jumped, yes into the twenty foot cavern. I landed... not as gracefully as one might have hoped. By not as gracefully as one might have hoped, I meant I landed on my back. The main point however, was that I was at the bottom of the cavern. I sat up slowley and glanced around, the foxes were all siting to the left of me and then to the right of me I saw a girl. Why was there a girl in the middle of a cavern you ask? I have no clue.

"Ah so I see you actually were stupid enough to do that." The girl joked.  This girl was very peculiar. She had black hair that was cut to about her shoulders and was wearing a black long coat over black pants and a shirt, odd choice of fashion.

"Um yeah, I'm very sorry but who in the name of hell are you, what are you doing in a cavern, what the hell is up with those foxes." I shot questions at her.

"Well I'm Averi and, I'm in this cavern becase I like it here, there's no people. The foxes however are a bit more interesting, I tamed them. It took a very long time tame all of them but I eventually did it. I actually don't know about what else is up with them. I think they're some form of mutant but I don't know." She responded with a smirk.

I continued to ask random questions about what the hell this cavern was and all that. She responded and this kept up for the rest on the day. We eventually start getting into more random topics, I talked about plants and she talked about her foxes. Soon enough the sun started setting and I had to get back to my tree house. She showed me the way out and invited me back to the cavern the next day. However I didn't feel like making the trek so I just invited her to my treehouse. It was while I was walking back to my house a realization hit me. 

"Holy shit, I feel like this is the begining of a beautiful friendship... wow thats cheezy."
