Moving to Madrid

   At 23 yrs old you'd think a girl would have it all figured out , her own house , a job , a husband maybe but not me . Nope .  My father still has to influence most difficult decisions I make and I hate it . I love him but he can't let go since I'm his only daughter and can't seem to find job but sometimes I hope things will look up for me . Since my mother died we've moved around about three times in five years . " Honey are you packed for our flight yet ? " My father asks from his bedroom . " Not yet Pops , I'll start now ." I'm dreading this move because I really thought that we were staying London and I'd start my life here . But the one thing I'm excited to go to Spain for is the football or should I say fútbol . I get to go see a match on the weekends at the Santiago Bernabeu, that's right Hala Madrid ! Me encanta Real Madrid , they are my favorite team . My father have loved them since the days of Zinedine Zidane . I currently have a degree in sports journalism and I'm also learning how to analyze, to be able to write about football would be a dream for me . I only hope to reach there someday . My name is Jessica Giovinco and I'm from Milan , Italy. I'm fluent in five languages , good at math for fucks sake and still can get a bloody job . I just wanna make a damn living for me and my father , is that so hard ?                   " All packed Pops ." I said walking downstairs to meet him eating his dinner and watching the news . " Dad why do we always have to move every one or two years ? It's getting really old I want to settle down ."                        When I said that I realized his head started to drop and he sighed . " I was hoping you're smartass self wouldn't ask that but ok . Look I just don't want to attach myself to one place because of what happened to your mom at home in Milan , I no longer wanted to make memories in a place I knew I would get attached to but now I promise you that Madrid will be your home .
