A little fuzzy

My eyes popped open and I gasped for air. "Oh my god, oh my god, I'm alive holy shit. I'm alive!" I tried to move my arms to celebrate but it only resulted in extreme pain and a loud groan. "Oh god, no. No no, holy shit."

"Hello? Who's there? Are you alright?" A child's head popped up. "You're alive! Oh goodness I was so scared. Do you need help?" She approached me further, allowing me to see her fully. She was about 4 feet tall with a tail that lagged behind her. Her face was sort of..caved and her eyes were abnormally large. She wore a dress past her knees and a dark brown clothe around her right arm.

"I..yes. Please. Take me to your nearest infirmary," I winced at the pain emerging in my skull.

"Yes yes, of course. Let me get this thing off of you first. Please hold still," The child tapped at a device strapped to her wrist and pointed it at my ship. My poor ship. I felt a small rumble and a sudden release of tension on my right leg. Oh god, how much worse can this get? I thought too soon. I was now being lifted into the air as if I was the wind. "Stay calm. Your ship will be repaired as well. I will be carrying you to Eos, my village."

"Riiight, Eos. Where is that?" I asked, trying to get my mind off the pain.

"Eos is one of many villages here on Perk."

"Perk? Where the hell did that thief take me?" I pondered for a moment. Why is that name so damn familiar?

"I'm going to have to ask you to comb through your vocabulary. Mama is against such vulgarity."

"Oh, my bad. I'll work on it." We travel for what feels like 20 minutes until we reach Eos. I break the prolonged silence, "My name is Perill, by the way."

"Zen. Pleasure," She shifts her arm to the side to lay me down onto a pallet made of straw and feathers. "Mama will be with you shortly. Please, stay as still as you can and try not to make too much noise. If you need anything, let an attendant know or have someone fetch me." She bowed her head and turned to the doorway.

"Zen," I called out. She turned to me. "Thank you." I smiled.

She smiled back, "Of course. Until we meet again."

Kismet~

"Kismet, please send ourt 15 a message for me," Mama shifted in her chair and set a small stack of papers onto the desk in front of her.

I straightened my back in attention and bowed my head. "Yes, Mama. What is the message you would like me to send?"

"Please inform fallen asteroid number 756 that they are to report to me in one week with their health fully restored and their full crash story. Understood?"

"Yes, Mama." another quick bow and I turned to the door. I walked through the hallway of mirrors, sneaking peaks of my dark complexion and large hair. I love how I look but everyone hates it. Everyone except Mama. She was so ecstatic when I fell from the sky. I can't remember how I became a fallen asteroid but, I don't know if I want to know. My life is alright here. Yes, I am a worker but I am working side by side with Mama. All I really need is her. I turned the right corner to find Zen.

"Zen, why have you come back? Is there news?" I bowed my head in respect.

"No, I came to inform Mama of number 756," She bowed back and smiled.

"Ah, I see. She just told me to take a message to it."

"Her. Her name is Perill. She's of Earth as well. But, for some reason I cannot conduct anymore searches. It's as if she's blocking my instruments. Something is off. That is why I am here."
