"Either.. I will love them either way.. boy or not"
~
"Me too, of course" Grayson nervously laughed.
We continued walking down the street when I heard screeching and a loud bang.
It was coming from around the corner.
"Grayson..." I panicked.
"What?" He asked.
"Didn't you hear that?" I questioned.
"Hear what, Hayden? Are you alright?" He joked, laughing at the end.
"I'll be right back" I stayed and trudged across the street.
I walked around the corner building and made my way down the road.
"Hayden!" Grayson called after me.
I ignored his yelling and focused on the street. I didn't see anything so I started walking back to Grayson.
I was about to walk across the road again when I heard was loud screeching and "watch out!" And everything went black.
Grayson's P.O.V
"Didn't you hear that?" Hayden asked.
"Hear what, Hayden? Are you alright?" I laughed.
She furrowed her eyes brows and turned to me.
"I'll be right back" she said and started walking across the road.
She was walking around the corner.
"Hayden!" I yelled.
She continued walking and zoned out what I said.
She stopped and stared at the street for a second before turning back around and walking to me.
She walked around the corner and was walking to me when a speeding car came down the street.
Hayden didn't see the car from where she was walking but the car seen Hayden.
The car tried swerving out of the way and let out obnoxious screeches.
"Watch out!" I yelled to Hayden, about to run toward her and push her out of the way before it was too late.
But it was.
To late.
The car stomached her and started flipping.
"Hayden!" I cried, her lifeless body in my arms.
I pulled out my phone and dialed 911.
"Help me! She was hit by a car! Help" I cried into the phone.
"Stay calm. Where are you sir?" The operator asked.
"On the corner of Fairy and West Ave." I stated.
Tears flooded my eyes.
I let out loud sobs as I dropped the phone and rocked Hayden back in fourth.
"Please.. please" I said, sobbing.
The ambulance showed up and pulled Hayden out of my arms.
"Hayden!" I cried.
Some of the doctors were working on the driver.
They said he would be fine but has a minor concussion.
I stared at the blood on the ground and let out cries.
"Sir, are you coming to the hospital with her or not?" Someone from behind me said, breaking my trance.
I nodded repeatedly and stepped into the ambulance.
As we drove, they helped her breath.
The patched up her stomach and gave her a breathing mask.
"Let's go!" The lady driving yelled.
They rushed Hayden out of the truck and into the hospital.
