"Thanks" I smiled, exiting the car and walking into the house.

"So.. what happened?" Kendall asked from the kitchen.
I jumped not realizing she was there.
She chuckled a bit and walked o the couch.
She oat the spot next to her indicating that she wanted me to sit.
I slipped my heels off and plopped on the couch.
"Where Dakotah?" I asked.
"Asleep with Bailey in her Room.. stop changing the subject" she demanded.
I sighed.
"So.. the other day.. I seen Grayson at the store.." I told her what happened there and what happened at the dinner.

"Wow.." She said, letting go of the breath she was holding.
I nodded.
"That's.. Wow" she repeated.
"Now Dakotah is scared of David" I stated.
"What are you gonna do?" She asked.
"I'm going to give it a month .. if she's still scared.. me and him are done. It's not safe for my child to be scared in her own household" o shrugged.
"Our little girls come first" she sighed.
I let out a puff and nodded.
"Where's Ethan?" I asked.
"He left about 10 minutes ago to go to Grayson's.. didn't you see him?" She asked.
I laughed and shook my head.
"I'll be back.." I said, standing from my spot on the couch.
"Where ya goin'" she asked.
"To invade your closet" I laughed.
She groaned and followed me to her room.
I pulled out a pair of shorts and a tank top:

I threw my hair in a messy bun and placed my phone on her charger.
"I'm going to bed" Kendall yelled, walking into the room.
She seen me and started scratching her neck.
"Oh.. I though you were in the guest" she said.
I laughed at her and walked out of the room after grabbing my phone and the charger.
I walked to the bedroom and rolled around in it first to make it more homey.

I flipped the covers over my body and laid there, looking at the ceiling.
I couldn't help but replay the minutes in the car with Grayson.
It felt the same as it did years ago.
It was so easy and comfortable around him.
Why though?
Why after SIX YEARS he wants to see Dakotah?
Isn't that.. weird?
I felt my eyes get heavy and next thing I knew.. I was out like a light.
